Serene Burnet Getaway w/ Buchanan Lake Views!

The Serene Burnet Getaway was the perfect home for a relaxing weekend. Debbie, the owner, is the best host. She informed us of weekend happenings in the area and even left us Halloween candy! Her home is pristine and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The view of the lake is beautiful, a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We hope to visit again soon.

This is my favorite place to stay when in town. The house is always clean and well stocked. The owners are very helpful and make checking in and out easy. I highly recommend Serene Burnet Getaway. Be ready to enjoy a beautiful view and a lot of deer!

Adorable place, clean and very easy access!

We had a wonderful stay - definitely 5 stars! Our family loved it. The home was spotless, welcoming, and offered a beautiful view of the lake. It was peaceful and quiet, and we especially enjoyed watching deer graze nearby. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Thoughtful touches, like a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware, coffee, and seasonings, made our stay even more enjoyable. The house also had a great selection of games and activities for kids, along with quality toiletries. Conveniently close to town, yet far enough to feel like a retreat. We would gladly stay here again!

My family and I had a relaxing getaway with the best views . This lake house was clean, inviting , with a gorgeous view of the lake , sunset and hundreds of stars at night. Every room was cozy and all the extras were very thoughtful , we appreciated the extra pillows and blankets. The house took a few hours to cool when we arrived but the host was quick to respond and help. Our two kids slept comfortably in the 2nd bedroom and the shower was heavenly with strong hot water pressure.. The master is the warmest room and doesn’t stay as cool as the rest of the house but the double duty fans helped make it comfortable . The tub was relaxing and we enjoyed the large deck from morning til night to gaze at the stars . Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake house.

We were so pleasantly surprised to see that for once the property was actually nicer than the photos! The home is clean, modern, and set up for maximum guest enjoyment. The view of the lake is stunning, especially at sunset! Honestly one of the best rental properties I have experienced.

The stay was awesome! Definitely will be back here again for our next trail race! The home had a beautiful view of the lake and also felt like an extension of our home. It had everything we needed. It’s a great place to separate yourself from the city if you just want to get away. Night time is extremely quiet.

Relaxing chill spot with a lovely view. Dog friendly porch, she also enjoyed the view. The porch and windows meant more hang time on the property than initially planned.

Beautiful house as advertised and spacious. Great view and deck. Short drive to Inks Lake State Park.

This was my second time to stay here and it will be my “go to” place when I’m visiting in Burnet, which I do often. I’m so impressed by the thoughtfulness of the owners and all the amenities they provide. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay and the owners go above and beyond to welcome guests. Very enjoyable!

The home is welcoming and beautiful! Host was attentive and had great communication both text and instructions for the details of the stay like wifi, use of appliances, AC, ect. We were at an event at at Reveille Peak Ranch and the location couldn't have been better. Wine and the view of the back porch was spectacular. We plan on coming back

Burnet is one of me and my husband’s favorite areas to visit. After losing my husband, I decided to return and take my mom and sister to see all the things me and John used to do. The house and location were amazing. The owners and manager were so helpful and easy to work with. The pictures on the website were accurate. The house had everything we needed and we loved watching the deer. I highly recommend staying here.

It was absolutely a dream to stay here everything was perfect for our little family. The whole property the view the state of the art kitchen my husband was in heaven. The property was clean everything was great. Would suggest tinting the kitchen/back porch windows sun was bright when we sat in the living room watching TV. But other than that this has become one of our favorite places. Thank you!
