The dining table seats 8 and the bar seats 3. br Located on a Cul de sac, in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood, the cottage is on the west prong of Little Pigeon River only 2 minutes to the Parkway. To the north of the cottage is a large green space, providing more privacy and distance from the neighboring house. Walk off the 3 car covered carport to the river to tube, wade or fish, or enjoy the hot tub on the deck overlooking the river. There are lots of older established large trees in the area, providing shade on the grassy lawn. Bring your kayaks & float to the Apple Barn. Enjoy nature along the walking trail and watch the geese, mallards, eagles and blue herons that visit daily. br A charcoal grill, picnic table, and swings are ready for you to enjoy on the carport. Rockers are on both the front and rear decks. The rear deck also has a brceiling fan and a dining table for four. Frisbees, footballs and various board games, PS4 , and a 60 game arcade table, cable tv and 300 MB WiFi are available for your enjoyment.br Pigeon River Cottage is convenient to the Apple Barn, and many other restaurants as well as all the local attractions. Dollywood is a 12 to 15 minute drive away. You have easy access to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Cal Ripken ball fields (5 minute drive) and all the area convention centers.br There are several churches close by, as well as Publix, Kroger, and Wal Mart that are less the 1.5 miles away. The Outlet Mall is less than 2 miles away. You are just minutes from almost anything in the Pigeon Forge area. Sevierville and Wears Valley have a great deal to offer as well. We encourage you to visit all the areas around the cottage. Don’t forget to find the Harrisburg Covered Bridge in Sevierville.
