Bannister Cottage – Lakefront Getaway w/ Dock, Porch & Views, 20 mins to Clemson

Very nice location. Property is as beautifully kept as it is comfortable. It is one of the best I have ever utilized. Highly recommend and will use again when I go back to Lake Hartwell.

there family and I have stayed in many bed & Breakfast and AirBnB/Vrbo type places.we have enjoyed many and also have had less than par experiences. This home was well appointed and CLEAN. Very nicely decorated and spacious. We actually spoke about renting again for this year!!

Our hosts and their home were excellent. The rental and all details were simple and they even checked in to see if we were good. This was one of the best VRBO houses we have experienced! Beautiful setting, immaculate house, all the necessities of home, and welcoming details. This is the place to relax!They have truly thought of all of the details/needs.We had family in and celebrated thanksgiving, expecting paper plates but there was enough of everything to use their dishes, even moved a few decorations to the table to make it feel formal. We enjoyed the lake, riding kayaks and playing games on the back deck.Thanks for letting us use your beautiful home, we loved it and hope to be back!

Perfect Place for Lake Hartwell!

Perfect spot for long family weekend. House is just as described and everything was great. End of quiet neighborhood road. Favorite spot was on the screen porch overlooking the lake.

The cottage was as advertised. Very well furnished, well maintained and just a great place to relax. would love to go back in the summer and enjoy the water. Great view from back screened in deck. i highly recommend to anyone

We really enjoyed our stay during Clemson family weekend! The screened in porch with a view of the lake was a highlight, and being near restaurants and not far from campus was ideal. The modern interior stood out from other homes we rented on the lake. Highly recommend!

The property is very well equipped and stockedThe owners are very responsive and the house is located on a quiet cove which is perfect for swimming and boating. We especially enjoyed our meals on the well furnished screened porch

Very nice home, on the lake with deep water. Nicely redone inside and would like to have this for a second home. Neighborhood a little sketchy but no problems.

We had an awesome stay at the Bannister Cottage on 4th of July. Very quiet, clean and cozy. Great location to watch the fireworks show on the lake as well!! We’ll come again for sure . Thank you!!!

My husband and I stayed to be closer to the venue for our daughter’s wedding. The house had everything a person could need. It was so clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is very comfortable and in a perfect location. We loved the porch looking over the lake. The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We’ve already made plans to visit again with our family this summer.

We had a great time staying in this home. It was nice to have breakfast out back and watch the sunrise over the lake. The kitchen is well stocked. We explored the area and enjoyed relaxing in this home.

While are timing of a family visit to see our daughter at Clemson was unfortunate given Hurricane Helene (and power was out everywhere), our stay here was great. The cottage looks newly renovated, has great light and space, very nice bed and bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen. We would love to come back when we have better luck with the weather!!

Beautiful welcoming home made it easy to relax. The steps with rails made it easy for all ages to get to the dock. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future lake stays!

My wife and three adult children stayed at the property for four nights. The place was spotless! The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to have basic things, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, on site. Sixteen local relatives aged 7 through 80 showed up for dinner on the second day. The dining area, kitchen, and porch easily accomodated all of us. It also was nice to have stairs going down to the boat dock - many houses on the lake do not have stairs. The drive into Anderson and Clemson took about 15-20 minutes.
