** New dock with extra slip for guest use and large party deck on the roof with swim platform and kayaks **

This beautiful lake house cabin was newly constructed in 2016. The home has a gorgeous living room with 2-story floor to ceiling bay windows that look out to the lake with a large wrap around porch, comfortable sofas and a 55 flat screen Roku TV. The interior is nicely appointed with tongue and groove walls/ceilings, granite countertops, a floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace, plenty of space to relax and a large family room in the basement with a large flat screen Smart TV.

There are 4 bedrooms (1 in the basement level, 1 on the main level and 2 upstairs). Three of the bedrooms have king beds with top of the line posturepedic mattresses and the 4th bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds and will sleep 10+ very comfortably. Each bedroom, with the exception of the basement bedroom, has a 32 flat screen Smart TV. The basement bedroom has a large Smart TV and also access to a 49 flat screen Smart TV in the recreation area. The recreation room in the basement has a comfortable sectional sofa and table for six people to play cards, board games or laying out food during the big game. Free Netflix and Disney+ is also available.

The cove is quiet with little boat traffic and is in deep water allowing for plenty of swimming fun for the family. The walk to the lake is fairly level with a gradual rolling decent.

A new dock an extra covered slip for guest use, swim platform with easy stair ladder, party deck on top of the dock and kayaks available for guest use. Spend the evening on the party deck watching the sunset over the peaceful cove before heading back up to the house for an evening by the fire.

A nice fire pit in the backyard is available for wonderful evenings with the family for roasting marshmallows and enjoying good times.

The large open kitchen has plenty of cabinet space with custom made rustic cabinets and granite countertops and overlooks the dining and living rooms for a perfect entertainment layout. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of pots, pans, dinnerware and other supplies needed for cooking for the whole family.

Places to Eat
The greatest number of local restaurants are on Clemson Blvd. To get there, head back out on Galloping Ghost Road and turn right onto Old Webb Road. Then turn left onto Highway 187. Go 2.73 miles and veer right onto Whitehall Road. Continue 5.12 miles and turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Continue on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd until you dead end into N Main Street. Turn left and this becomes Clemson Blvd. This road has many typical chain restaurants such as O’Charleys, Five Guys, Chick Fil-A, Chipotle, Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse, Cook Out, Applebee’s, Outback Steakhouse, Eggs Up Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster, as well as some local favorites such as Elkmont Tap & Cellar and Papa’s and Beer.

Our personal favorite for BBQ is the Smoking Pig on Clemson Blvd (open Thursday, Friday and Saturday). There is also The Farm about 2 miles from the house on Highway 187 (heading back towards Highway 24). The brisket is great at both restaurants, and The Farm offers axe throwing and cornhole while you wait.

Barnwood Grill at 2606 Whitehall Rd, Anderson, SC 29626, is well regarded for its fresh food and fantastic breakfast. It is worth the short drive up the road.

If you want pizza delivery, there is a Domino’s Pizza at the intersection of Hwy 24 and Hwy 187. The phone number is 864-261-3030.

Downtown Anderson as a few favorites such as Mellow Mushroom, Taco Loco and The Meeting Place Restaurant.

Grocery Stores
There are Ingles and Food Lion grocery stores at the intersection of Highways 24 and 187 about 3 miles from the house. Our favorite is Ingles, which also has a Starbucks inside. Be sure to take 30 seconds and get an Ingles card for discounts and fuel points (10 cents off per gallon with every $100 spent).

Owner holds a real estate license.

Very spacious house with a large windows that provide a lovely view out of the back of the house. The porch is amazing and we enjoyed sitting out and drinking our coffee every morning. The beds were very comfortable. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner though. The two single kayaks got a lot of use! The house is sort of on a little inlet so the kids could swim at the dock and not worry too much about boat traffic. We certainly wished we could have stayed longer! Really beautiful, clean house!

We had a wonderful stay. The dock is very nice, water is deep but not busy with boat traffic. The view from the living room, kitchen and main bedroom was like being in a tree house. All of the bedrooms are huge. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked the house for family to celebrate our son's Clemson graduation. The check-in was very easy and the check-out as well. One tip, ensure you have the WiFi name and password before you arrive - we had no cell service at the house and had to drive up the road to get it from the listing. The house was a perfect size for our 9 people! It definitely could hold more!! They even had a pack and play if you have an infant. The kitchen was large and roomy and had everything we needed. The dining room sat our group easily.Loved the beds!!! Everyone who stayed said the beds were very comfortable - which hardly ever happens.Loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom with an amazing shower!! We didn't think we would get to use the firepit as it was May, but we were wrong. Mother Nature gave us very cool weather, so we did enjoy at least 2 nights at the firepit. It was quiet and peaceful. We didn't get to use the lake unfortunately due to the cooler weather, but the dock is so nice!! It's large with a party deck. There are stairs down into the water. A kayak was at the dock and there was also one at the house - which again, we didn't get to use. :-( But you do need to bring your own lifejackets - which we did.The house is 30 minutes from Clemson campus and is a very easy drive. Ingles grocery is very close to the house (maybe 5 miles) and the BBQ at Fork Grove is AMAZING!!!!We really couldn't believe the house was as perfect as it was. Highly recommend.

Booked this for my gender reveal/babyshower. I had family come in from 5 other states. Most family stayed with nearby family members but this beautiful home housed the rest of us. Very stunning when you come in. Every room has its own bathroom plus an extra half bath in community area. Owner was very responsive and pleasant. Id definitely return for another gathering here. Dishes and utensils were plenty. Minimal on towels and extra blankets so if you need extra, bring some. Loved that they offered games, and kayaks.

We met family from PA for a Thanksgiving get-together and a Clemson game. We’ve stayed at several lake houses around Clemson over the years, but this one definitely stood out. There was no soap...anywhere, 1/2 roll or less of TP in most bathrooms, used bars of soap left in showers, trash/hair in the showers, MB door doesn't stay open or closed, upstairs shower didn't drain, so ankle deep water the entire shower, no extra towels and ones provided were the size of a floor mat. The place was filthy, the sofas had food/hair/dirt under the cushions, and the supports were gone, there was opened ice cream left in the freezer and it had melted to the shelf, ice makers made about 3 cups of ice in 4 days, many (opened & perishable) items left in refrigerator, etc. cheap flooring is buckled everywhere. saw roaches in the pantry, pots and pans had the coatings completely worn off, the driveway is not functional for a 2 WD car, we had to push them up the hill due to steepness and loose stones. But, the worst part is the unphased owners...after we notified them of some concerns they simply responded 'thank you, we'll let our cleaners know and after we voiced more concerns about the ice makers and shower not draining Etc. they decided not to respond and haven't since. This is the first time I can remember that my family cherished a vacation departure day more than our arrival day.
