This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for late night parties that disturb neighbors. Middletown’s noise ordinance starts at 10pm each day of the week. Activities must come inside and windows should be closed at 10pm if volume will impact our neighbors. Thank you for respecting our island community, and commitment to be a good neighbor.brbrbrbrA Middletown town ordinance limits guests to 2 adults per bedroom. Additional children are allowed. This rental is properly registered with the state, and the town and receives an annual town inspection. brbrbrbrLocated off the Newport Pell Bridge and West Main Road, #TheFlightdeck is 4.0 miles and 13 minutes from downtown Newport, and around the corner from the Navy Base and NUWC. The driveway parks six cars. A quick drive or shared ride to the beaches and downtown Newport are $8-12 standard fare, and up to about $30 for late-night surge pricing.brbrbrbrFor your safety the space is equipped with smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors. There is also a flashlight, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher located under the kitchen sink. An additional fire extinguisher can be found in the linen closet downstairs. You`ll need a car to get to downtown Newport or Middletown. There is a Stop & Shop grocery store just down the street.brbrbrbrSummer traffic in Newport can be the worst. Uber and Lyft are recommended for evenings out downtown. Once you`re downtown, don`t forget that a pedicab is usually a great option to get around that area. Make sure to carry cash because they operate on tips only.

A perfect family/friend share as the bedrooms are located on opposite spots in the cottage with bathrooms right outside of each bedroom. The king size bedroom is sun filled and large. In addition to the king size bed, we have added a fold down sleeper sofa for extra seeping space, if needed. A bathroom adjoins this bedroom. The second bedroom is a queen size and sunny! Right outside of this bed room is another bathroom. (the laundry is located in this bathroom) The charming coastal blue kitchen opens up to the living room which has a very mid century vibe to it. There is service for 6 guests and the kitchen is stocked with spices, sugar, coffee and tea. French doors lead from this room into the dining room which is a great space if there is remote work that is needed. Sliders lead off of the living room onto a peaceful deck with outdoor seating and a gas grill. There is also a large grass/yard area and is very relaxing out there! You are minutes from downtown Newport and the beaches, yet in a secluded, peaceful setting to enjoy when looking to relax and unwind. Plenty of birds chirping in the morning!
