The walk to the beach captures a beautiful, panoramic view of the 2nd and 3rd beaches, the Norman Bird Sanctuary and the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge. brWe are just 2.5 miles to downtown Newport and 2 miles from Bellevue Ave and the Mansions. Hardwood floors throughout, a renovated living room with large windows and new mahogany deck facing the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the sound of the waves. The kitchen has a new wall oven, refrigerator and microwave. The master bedroom has a king size bed and private bath with windows facing the water. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and hall bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds. A family room was added in 2016/17 on the lower level which serves as a 4th bedroom with private bathroom and separate entrance from the yard. The living and dining rooms are located in a great room with the kitchen adjacent to the dining room. The living room has a 62 flat screen TV with Cable and DVD player. Wifi throughout. The master bedroom has a flat screen smart TV with cable. The house borders the beautiful grounds of St. Georges Prep School. There is a ping pong table in the 4th lower level bedroom. There is a gas grill for outdoor cooking The deck has table with umbrella, chairs and lounge chairs. You will be fully equipped with beach towels, beach chairs and boogey boards. brTennis is close by and we can make arrangements for you to play on the St. George's courts. There are private and public golf courses nearby. brAnother feature about renting on Purgatory Lane is the fantastic walks along the beach, to the geologic anomaly, Purgatory Chasm and the Norman Bird Sanctuary. A free parking pass is available for 3rd beach, located about a mile away and visible from the deck. Less crowded and more tranquil than the closer 2nd beach, 3rd beach has no waves and great spot to take non-swimming kids.

Quick walk to second beach too and very close to all downtown Newport has to offer! Shopping, dining and the active bar scene and world famous dining! Lovely area! At Last has the charm of old New England with modern amenities and new furnishings! This house is delightful and charming with a private yard for grilling, entertaining, pets and kids. The yard is fenced in and has a sweet garden/privacy hedge surrounding it, making it perfect for those lazy summer days and nights. (there is also an outdoor shower, but not enclosed) Private and quiet location! Sip cocktails on the back deck which has seating for 8, while watching the kids play in the sweet, garden accented backyard. You will find both the king and queen bedrooms are on the second floor, with the bathroom located on the first. (please make note that the stairs are the steep ship stairs- aware with young children and older adults). The king-sized bedroom is large and sunlit and there is enough room to set up and air mattress if needed for kids or guests. You will find a smart TV also located in the king-sized bedroom. The queen size bedroom is charming and delightful with under the bed drawers and a large mirror. Both bedrooms have new mattresses (which we have received many compliments on) and furnishings. In the hallway between the two bedrooms there is a vanity makeup area and some extra space. You will find the cottage fully stocked with beach chairs, towels, gas grill, wine glasses, and two TV's with Fire stick remotes. (One TV in the large bedroom and the second is located in the living room). The sofa is a queen pull-out (please bring sheets if you plan to use) for an overnight guest or 2. We are dog friendly with a small fee.. Laundry and AC window units! Unbeatable location! Divine cottage! Parking for 3 cars, or more depending on their size. Come spend a week at At Last! Very close to the activities in downtown Newport too. Will consider monthly rentals during winter season, just ask for pricing! Patio with gas grillbrCan sleep 7 if you don't mind lack of privacy and sharing the one bathroom. King Bed upstairs along with twin bed off this room. Also daybed on opposite wall of this room. (very large) Main level has a bedroom with a queen bed. Open living/dining area . Oversized 2 bedroom!! Laundry! Cute outdoor patio for grilling and awesome neighborhood for kids to ride bikes in! So close to the beaches! Only a couple minutes to drive to Newport Wharfs. Parking for 4 cars in tandem.brThis is a stand alone cottage that is entirely yours to use. You also have a private side patio to enjoy for BBQ's. Parking for up to 4 cars too. Grab a coffee in the morning and take a stroll to the beaches!!brYou can walk to beaches and some dining. Driving is very easy in this area. There is a bus, but not used much and the pick up is a bout a mile away.brThis beach cottage is large for a 2 bedroom. The second level King bedroom has a nook off of it that has a twin bed in, for extra sleeping. However it is not private. On the opposite wall of the King bed is a daybed, for extra sleeping. There are two kitchens, two living rooms, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a dining room, private deck, private patio, large yard, garage space, two washers/dryers, and a grill. Ample space for large groups of people. There is a king bed in the master with a bathroom connected to it, a queen bed in two of the bedrooms, two bedrooms with two daybeds (2 twins in one, the other turns into a king bed), a queen sleeper sofa, and two large couches that can fit adults as needed. There is also an air mattress for additional guests if needed.
