This past year we hosted Thanksgiving for a large group of family, new and old. We celebrated our daughter getting engaged (She did not know it was going to happen but everyone else did)! Most of the guests had been here many times but some had never been here at all. brThe whole thing reminded us of what a great house this is for Family/Friends. We got to visit with family members who we live too far away from to see as often as we would like. And, at the same time, meet some new family members that we have never met. At Corolla Paradise, both of those worked beautifully. We had 4 generations mingling, playing games, doing puzzles, watching Football games on TV, going for walks, and we could go on and on. Most of the action took place in the Great Room/Kitchen but, at any point, groups or individuals could use the Theater Room, Game Room or the two quiet areas on the middle floor. As a great bonus, every Bedroom had its own full Bathroom. brThe whole experience made us smile and wonder... Why don't we do this more often For us, it was a wake-up call as to how important our family is to us.br brWelcome to our home, built with two of almost everything. It makes hosting large groups a breeze – Huge open kitchen with 2 stoves, refrigerators and dishwashers, 2 living rooms, 1 game room and 1 media/theatre area. The perfect place for family/friend reunions, Golfers, or even corporate groups. brWe are entering our eighth year of hosting guests at Corolla Paradise. We are so thankful for all the people who have stayed in Corolla Paradise over the years. Our goal has always been to help our guests have the perfect vacation. Your family and friends come over, and where do they go That's right! The kitchen...and there never seems to be enough room! Well, we solved that problem for you while you are on vacation! brCooking and cleanup crews are surrounded by family and friends while they work. The huge center island seats 9 people who can enjoy a beverage while visiting with the people in the kitchen. Many people love to Cook on these kinds of vacations. We set it up, so the Cooks are at the Center of all Conversation. (And there can be several Cooks at the same time). br• It is VERY private. Surrounded by trees. Other than your walk to the beach you could spend the week without laying eyes on anyone but your family/friends. Very few houses in the Outer Banks have this level of privacy.br• Most importantly, we clean the house ourselves. We are using hospital grade cleaning products, and we are thorough! The health and well-being of you and your family are the most important thing of all and being able to safely decompress while visiting with family and friends is part of that. br• 10 Bedrooms/ 10 Bathrooms, Each Bedroom has a Full Bathroom attached to it. There are 8 Jetted Tubs. It is truly the best of two worlds. You can have the privacy that a hotel room provides, but at the same time have the fun, camaraderie, and economic advantages that traveling with a large group can bring.br• Very LARGE Private 16 X 40 Heated Pool and Hot Tub. br• 3 Minute QUIET walk to the beach. “Quiet” is emphasized because most houses in the OBX that are not directly on the beach have at least one busy road to cross. Our walk is a neighborhood walk. “Safe” is another word that comes to mind here.br• The Beach- The BEACH is incredible- Beautiful sand, Great waves. Corolla Beaches are the widest beaches in the OBX. We have a full-time lifeguard on duty all Summer. The Lifeguard Stand is right there as you cross over the Dune. From the end of Corolla Paradise’s driveway to the walkway over the dune is a 3-minute stroll through the beautiful and quiet neighborhood. This area has no public parking, so you can enjoy the uncrowded Beach!br• Our neighborhood has its own Tennis Court.br• The Currituck Club Golf Course is a 4-minute drive.
