Beautiful house in a beautiful location

The house itself was stunning, as were the views, but the terrain to get there was pretty treacherous and the hosts did not give good enough instructions. Also, for how remote it is, they should be very explicit about the need to bring toilet paper and other essentials (paper goods is way too vague). Also be prepared to bring enough food for the stay and really look into how to drive in the sand before you go.

The house was amazing and perfect for our family of 14. Everything was clean when we arrived, the kitchen had everything you need to prep and cook meals. The fenced in pool/hot tub were clean and in great shape. It was super easy to walk to the beach or drive when we were feeling lazy. We will definitely look to book the property again for future trips to OBX.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful Outer Banks home! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this house was something special—immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished, and perfectly suited for our group of 10, including two young children under 10. There was more than enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves without ever feeling crowded.The location was fantastic—just a short and easy walk to the beach, which made it ideal for quick trips back and forth with the kids. The home had everything we needed and more, with plenty of room for shared meals, games, and quiet moments on the deck.Barbara, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her communication was prompt, warm, and helpful from start to finish. She clearly cares about the experience of her guests, and it made a big difference in how smooth and enjoyable our stay was.We’re already talking about coming back—this house made our Outer Banks vacation everything we hoped it would be!

Very peaceful big house plenty of room

What a fantastic home! This home is spacious, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen had everything for our group of 14. The choice of three coffee machines kept our morning gatherings relaxed and enjoyable. The double oven came in handy with our larger meals. The living room was plenty large and comfortable for our 8 adults to be seated. The large coffee table allowed us to do two 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles (provided). The decor in the living spaces allowed us to feel very connected to the OBX. The 6 bedrooms were large and all had ensuites. All the bedrooms were very comfortable. The grandchildren enjoyed the bunk beds and fell asleep each night exhausted from their cousin time. The recreation room on the ground floor was perfect for our ping pong tournaments. The ice machine on this floor was essential. The elevator was used sparingly but was appreciated for moving groceries, etc between floors at the beginning and end of our stay. The sunrises at this property were spectacular! The beach and beach passes were used daily in the morning hours and the pool was completely shaded by 3p allowing for up to 8 hours of water time each day. The wild horses were on the property daily, one morning there were 10 of them sleeping just outside the property fence! It was a 30 minute drive to get off the beach, we only made the trip a couple of times. The owner was extremely responsive to all of our communication and needs. Thank you for a wonderful week!!

Wonderful home with wonderful views! Plenty of room for all! Spent alot of time in the pool, hot tub and on the beach!

This property is incredible, and the host couldn't have been better. The house looks incredible in the listing and turned out to be even better than the pictures. Barbara was easy to work with, a great communicator, and helpful as I planned our trip. It couldn't have been better! The house is even nicer than the pictures. The floors are gorgeous, and it looks like every wall has been freshly painted. There are nice touches everywhere. Unlike other (many?) rent houses, the kitchen is well stocked with silverware and dishes, and the quality of knives and equipment isn't lacking. There's pride everywhere you look in the house. We appreciated the beverage coolers, and the second full size refrigerator. It's an easy walk to the beach and we appreciated the chairs and equipment. The wild horses hung out around the property and the various balconies gave us the best views. When we left, all families were asking when we'd return. We'll be back!

We had the most amazing stay! The beach was definitely something you should see once in your lifetime. My children were in “happy tears” over the magical sight of the wild horses that grazed all around the house and nearby dunes. The house itself was clean with plenty of space for our family and children. We loved the ice maker on the ground level - genius addition to the home! All of the instructions were easy to understand and check out rules are pretty standard and easy. The host was great at communicating and informing us of everything we needed to know and was helpful during our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second time staying in this house and we loved it. This house is great- big beautiful rooms, pool and hot tub- most perfect space for a group our size! Owners very responsive! Would love to stay again
