There is one closet that will be locked with the hosts’ personal belongings. The kitchen is equipped with all basic cooking equipment, full size stove and refrigerator & dishwasher and much more! It has a skylight and is open to the living room.brThe master bedroom has a queen size bed and dresser. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a closet. The third bedroom has a full-size bed and closet. . They are open and bright rooms!brThere is a patio area with a fire pit available for your use (firewood can be purchased at Stewart’s or various other private locations around).brGuest accessbrYou have access to all but one closet!brThe laundry facilities are in the basement as well as a ping pong and air-hockey tables! We have had occasional water issues during rainy weather down there :( Please let me know if that happens during your stay. Nothing a towel won’t hold at bay (I have several junk towels down there just in case) but frustrating all the same. The basement and yard are both works in progress. We appreciate your patience as we work to make the house and even better experience to stay in. brOther things to note:brThe home is on the street where the fire station is located. Schroon Lake is a very quiet town but there are, of course, emergencies on occasion! The fire whistle can be startling if you don’t know what it is! Don’t be alarmed if you hear a loud whistle.

Down near the lake we have a grassy area perfect for relaxing by the lake in the shade. As you walk down a few steps you will find 80 feet of private sandy beach for your personal use. On the beach there is a picnic table with umbrella and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Kayaks and row boat available for guest use. Beach chairs and beach towels provided. Dock and row boat are in water from May- October with the ability to rent a motorized boat through local boat company.brbrWe are a dog and kid friendly rental. Dogs are allowed with an additional cleaning fee. We provide dog dishes, a dog bed, extra leashes and doggie bags ( please pick up after your pet when out on walks).
