Comfortable all season lake house!

Good location lots of room for parking cars ,playing games and having campfire. House was well equipped and roomy.No air was a little issue since we hit a hot week but everything cooled down later in the night . The only issue was the walk down the hill to the dock and beach was a little far and coming back up the hill was a killer for the older people. Docking was o.k. but having 4 boats on a dock was a little tight. Lake access was a little tight but was manageable. Close to town and restaurants was a plus.

The property listing was very accurate, everything was superb, clean, and easy to access and Joe was extremely responsive with all questions! Thanks for helping our family to have a great weekend!

We had a fantastic time at this property. The property owner (Joe) has a wonderful place and obviously has taken very good care of it … but this is managed by Vacasa - a management company; so you never really interact with the owner, just with a property management company and there is no “personal” touch; it’s all business to them. One of the main positives of most VRBO’s vs. hotels, motels, etc. is the personal touch of getting to know the owner, etc. vs dealing with a business. That being said, we would definitely stay here again!!!

Lots of space to spread out. We lived the small town of Schroon. Lake access was great.

I would come back again.

The property was perfect for our families. The online photos don't do it justice, it's much bigger than it appears in the photos. The layout is wonderful, all on one floor, big dining table in the kitchen fits everyone, and wonderful outdoor space with a fire pit! A great place to stay while you enjoy everything Schroon Lake has to offer.

The house was so nice a great size!!! And we loved the shadow box of how it was built back in 1936 !!!!! The lawn was perfect for a game of bocce ball!!! We all had so much fun!!! Thank you so much!!!!Betty Williams

This house was perfect. Very accommodating and clean! The owner kept great communication with us too! Highly recommend!

The house and property were perfect for our large group. Joe was great to work with and was quick to respond to our questions. The only thing we were slightly disappointed about was that the original listing when we booked said there was a private dock and swimming platform. We made due with sharing the dock. We were happy to have left before renters at another house docked their pontoon boat or we would have had very little space to sit as their is not much of a beach. Overall it was a great week and a great location. I would highly recommend it,
