There is a back yard fire pit with chairs. Firewood can be purchased at many places locally.There are stairs to both the firepit and the river. Rent Kayaks/canoes at Mountainman Outdoor Supply Co. Rte 28. The living room has a smart TV and the 1st floor bedroom TV has a Amazon firestick. No central air conditioning but there are fans and a portable window air conditioning unit on the first floor and one of the 2nd floor bedrooms.. There is a charcoal grill on the back patio in the summer. There are grab bars installed in the shower. There is a bath seat for the shower in the living room closet. if you should need one. The winter driveway is 50 x 12.5 ' with 2 additional parking spaces in front of the house. Please check the calendar for available dates. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Lots of unique stores in town to explore, hiking, swimming at the Old Forge Beach, the Strand Theater in town with four first run movies, lots of restaurants to enjoy, The View Art Center, Enchanted Forest and Waterpark (voted one of the best in the country), McCauley Mountain skiing in the winter, chairlift rides in summer and Autumn. There is Christmas in the Forge on Thanksgiving weekend with stores open, a Santa parade, reindeer for the kids, and sleigh rides in town. The shopkeepers have treats in the stores and the whole town shows up for the lighting of the Christmas tree in town. In the Adirondack area: Blue Mountain Museum , The Wild Center, and lots of other attractions to enjoy. Please be honest regarding how many people will be in your group. I need that information to adequately prepare for your arrival and to inform the cleaning crew so they will know how many people will be required to clean after your departure.

All linens are in included! All the furniture, beds, linens and kitchen utensils are brand new in 2021. Brand new Stove, Dishwasher and Refrigerator/Freezer in 2022. Sorry, no 4 legged friends as this is an allergen free property. A short walk to Rivets Marine and you can rent a boat for the day. Regarding accessing the side door, we will have a path shoveled to the entrance. If it snows during your stay, please, for your safety, use the shovel and ice melt in the container below the stairs. Winter conditions in Old Forge and throughout the region require extra caution. brbrBEAR SAFETYbrCarry in/carry out. Leave no trash or food remains at the camp. Bears follow the scent of food and can turn a property upside down as a result of food left behind. brbrINFO ON BRINGING ALONG A DOGbrOne dog, non-shedding, and under 25 pounds will be considered with documentation of up-to-date vaccination records. We would ask that the dog always be attended to in the house or crated and that he/she be kept off the furniture. If a crate is needed to accommodate rules (keeping your sweet pup off the furniture), we can provide one with sufficient time to plan. An additional cleaning fee of $35 per day up to $120 a stay will be assessed in advance of your stay to cover costs for additional cleaning. brbrRegarding sheets: The two bedrooms will have clean sheets on the beds for guests when they arrive. If guests wish to bring their sheets, they will need king sheets for the master bedroom and queen sheets for the second bedroom. The pullout couch has a queen mattress and there will be a set of queen sheets in the closet for guests using the sofa bed. brbrRegarding towels: We have house towels but not beach towels. Summer guests are kindly asked to bring their own beach towels. brbrRegarding drinking water: Our well water contains natural minerals that have a taste and smell that, although safe to drink, is not preferred in its unfiltered state. Owners refill our 5-gallon water cooler (in our kitchen) in town using the spigot on the side of the Old Forge Tourist Center building. We also drink from cold water run through a Britta filter pitcher stored in the fridge at the house. We suggest either for our guests. brbrRegarding the association beach: Directions both for driving and walking to the beach will be available at the camp.

Ferienhaus has a big living room with a wall of windows overlooking First Lake on the Fulton Chain. For warm days and nights, you can sit on the front deck or boathouse for eating or sunbathing, but for chilly nights or rainy days curl up near the wood-burning stove in the front living room. We offer 5G Wifi and have a Smart TV in the living room with a pull-out couch for movie nights. The decor is ADK camp style and has a lodge feel with antique skis, paddles, and snowshoes. For entertaining, there is a bar that seats 4 off of the living room for pouring cocktails. In the kitchen, there is a large dining table that seats 10 for big events and dinners. If you love grilling there is an enclosed porch off the side of the kitchen with a Weber grill and table that seats 6. There is a main bathroom off the kitchen that has a bathtub with a shower. For privacy, there is also another bathroom in the master suite, which has a King bed for sprawling out. There are 3 bedrooms in total. One bedroom has a Queen bed right next to the main bathroom. The next bedroom has a Queen bed and near the back of the camp. The highlight for kikds is the loft with a main living space. If you love the water then you'll spend most of your time on top of the deck at the boathouse or the deck off the camp. There are two docks. One dock is next to an open space for walking into the water. It has a sandy bottom and is 4 feet deep. If you are a boater there is a public launch close by. There are 6 parking spaces for you and your guests. If you snowmobile the parking is perfect for your sleds. For the snowmobiling enthusiast, there are rideable roads and a trailer marker right out your door. Linens not provided. Must be arranged at booking for 150.00 fee.
