Walk to hike, road bike, mountain bike, cross country ski, snowshoe, and golf right from our property. Our street borders the JackRabbit Trail and Craig Wood 18-hole Golf Course. Our 5-acre property has all the amenities for a great getaway. Sit outside and enjoy the mountain views of Cascade, Porter, Algonquin, Wright, and Colden peaks from one of our three porches. We have a gas as well as a natural wood fire pit to enjoy our incredible starry nights. In the summertime, play horseshoes, crochet, corn hole, and pick up games on our huge front yard. Pick wildflowers and raspberries or read a book in our hammock. Wintertime brings sparkling mountain views and snowshoeing, fat tire biking, and cross country skiing. The large open kitchen has large story book windows that look directly at Mirror Lake, Marcy Mountain and Olympic Ski jumps. The kitchen connects directly with the dining room and good sized seating area that allows for conversation and game playing while preparing meals. The kitchen has new double ovens, double microwaves, a new gas range and the counters are all hand crafted butcher block. There is a very large fridge and new dishwasher. The views from the top deck overlooking Mirror Lake are inviting and extremely peaceful. In addition, the private backyard hosts a fire pit and nearby is a private six person hot tub. Inside of the house, all of the five new beds - three kings, and two full size -are pillow top mattresses with down comforters, duvets and cozy high end quality linens. (extra blankets and pillows available if needed.)brThere is a washer and dryer with lots of space for storage as well.brOne of the best things about this property is it's proximity to town.
