A small bungalow style cabin with an open setting and mini kitchen, comes with a king memory foam bed, plush sheets, Pendleton robes, a soak freestanding tub, sheepskin rugs and local charcuterie upon arrival. Step outside to a mini fireplace, sauna or hot tub, and cedar outdoor shower ( summer months) after a long hike or ski, wine selections or pasta dinner available for add on charge. Your back yard space is private, and the cabin itself is near a lodge but remains quiet and not shared as well.brbrGuest access:brGuests have a private driveway, access and use of 5 acres of land as well as hot tub and sauna ( available for guests only) , we will happily make you a fire or special requests for a slice of luxury in the mountains. This is a shared backyard but private in the sense you are the only one using amenities as we reserve them for our lodge and cabin guests.brbrOther things to note:brLocal treats and drinks available and please note the cabin is adjacent to our lodge building and a local road, it is not a cabin in the woods but a quiet cabin on a mountain setting.

Airy and uncluttered, the interior has been designed and furnished in the style of the region with comfort, ease and entertainment in mind. The large porch overlooking Giant and Hurricane Mountains invites you to plan your day over a morning cup of coffee and relax after a day of outdoor adventure with Clifford Brook pleasantly babbling in the background. brbrThe bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed and private access to the porch. The upstairs bedroom features a queen bed with beautiful mountain views. The third bedroom, at the garden level, includes a king size bed, a twin bunk and an oversized closet. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. In addition, the loft has two daybeds and the game/tv room has a queen size sofa bed. The dining room table seats 10. However, we provide a HEPA Air Purifier with a strong fan in the unit that can be used for white noise if desired. Further, the space is part of a duplex; we've taken measures to minimize sound transmission between the units by installing sound-damping insulation. However, given the nature of duplex living, we respectfully request all our guests help maintain a peaceful environment, particularly during nighttime hours. Mindfulness in this regard will ensure that all guests enjoy a quiet and restful stay. br3. EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERAS: For the safety and security of our guests, this property is equipped with exterior security cameras. These are located on the sides of the house/garage facing towards the driveway and monitor exterior entrances and outdoor areas only. Footage is used for security purposes only. br4. CLEANLINESS: We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. We conduct a comprehensive multi-hour cleaning and aerate the house utilizing a HEPA air purifier between each stay (HEPA even helps filter viruses like Covid-19 and Flu). brbrSPECIAL FEATURES: brbr1. CAST IRON CLAWFOOT TUB: The space features a real vintage clawfoot tub (dated from the 1890s) with a custom fabricated rain shower. We`ve taken measures to minimize sound transmission between the units by installing sound-damping insulation. However, given the nature of duplex living, we respectfully request all our guests to help maintain a peaceful environment, particularly during nighttime hours. The hiking trail we have created on our property does follow a heard path so you may see deer or other wildlife along the trails. There WILL be bugs. Please pack bug spray and leave all screens in the house closed at all times to avoid allowing bugs indoors. That being said, children MUST be supervised at all times. Our hiking trail leads to a gorgeous overlook however, it is at the top of a ridge which could pose great danger to young children. There will also be uneven terrain throughout the property. The fire pit areas are also areas where children should have close supervision to avoid any serious injuries. **Children are NOT allowed in the loft. This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors!brThe spacebrThe cabin was built in 2007, and has beautiful winter views of the surrounding mountains. In the summer the yard is surrounded by trees, which makes the backyard and deck very private. There is a small BBQ, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit. It comes with all the appliances you would need, including a new washer, dryer, and dishwasher.brGuest accessbrGuests will have private use of the whole house, and backyard, except for one room upstairs which is locked for storage. This includes a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed, a private workspace, and a closet. Across the hall is a full bathroom with the laundry, and next to that is the kitchen stocked with everything a kitchen should have, and a living room with a wood stove, two couches, and a big flat screen TV. The deck has beautiful winter views through the trees, and it is very private. The check in is contactless, so from the moment you get there you will have the property to yourself! As such, in order to respect our neighbors and community we do not allow any music, loud noise, loud talking, yelling, or otherwise boisterous behavior, etc. while outside at the firepit or down at the brook. When you stay with us, you become a member of our community and we ask that you strongly respect those in the surrounding area looking to enjoy the quiet serene natural environment. brbr2.
