Depending on the water level, there is sometimes a small sandy area at this lower level. Going straight out, the slope is gradual and sandy for maybe 25ft, then it becomes more muddy underfoot. On either side of the sandy area, reeds and lilies grow up in the Summer. So there is an area of lake that is sandy underfoot, maybe 10ft wide and stretching about 25 ft into the lake, depending on the water level you could swim out from there.brWe have a 20ft long dock (summer only) which is good for fishing, or sunbathing when the deck is in shade.
