Spend a quintessential New Hampshire summer at this cozy, two-bedroom cottage on the shores of Big Pea Porridge Pond, a lakefront retreat that comes with a private dock, a small private beach, as well as a canoe and kayaks to take out on the water whenever you please. This home is nestled among trees that become a spray of color each autumn, with gorgeous views of the lake that you can enjoy from the large screened porch, the back deck, and the picnic table in the yard. You'll be able to spend your days swimming, boating, playing horseshoes, and flipping burgers on the grill outside. As for the evening hours, you can roast marshmallows around the seasonal firepit, mix cocktails at the tiki bar in the screened porch, and curl up in front of the two TVs - one Smart TV and one flatscreen with a Roku - for a night of your favorite movies and shows.

What's nearby:
This lakefront home sits on the southern shore of Big Pea Porridge Pond in Eidelweiss Village, a community with five association beaches (including Thusis Beach just down the road). You'll also be a few minutes' drive from the Conway Scenic Railroad and a wealth of tax-free outlet shopping in Conway and North Conway.

Nice place, plenty of room. There was some dirt left over from a previous stay on one of the side tables by the couch, and if you have a problem with bugs (ants/spiders) the this isn't the place for you. Overall good stay for my family.

We had a lovely time on the pond, although our stay was much too short. Beautiful location and views. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The beds were very comfortable the screened room and fire pit were awesome.

We had a great time. The views were great, and it was wonderful to be able to walk out the porch and into a canoe or kayak onto a gorgeous, quiet, serene body of water. The nights were dark and quiet. Comfortable beds, heat and hot water worked fine, a nice little gas fireplace for ambiance. And a horseshoe pitch, which was fun! Admittedly, if you're looking for luxury, this might not fit the bill. Minor concerns, overall, with screen doors or blinds or lamps that don't work very well. But we thought it was just wonderful and would stay there again!

upon arrival the screen to the kitchen door hanging off - so getting things in was difficult ( we couldn't have the door open due to bugs ) the inside of cottage was clean but the screen porch is a mess, screens broken, dirty stained chairs , 2 vacuum cleaners just sitting there and the sills of framing all mildewed . As I booked this I was so embarrassed. The saving grace was the view and the beach/dock and kayaks...

My stay was great. Just a couple of things.. there is only a double bed w a bunk above in the second bedroom. Not the other bed, like in the pictures. It was fine for us, but just an FYI. There is a wall ac unit that works very well, w remote. It took a little bit to figure it out, tho. It wouldve been nice to have an info packet on how to use that, n also the fireplace remote. And local places to go.Very close to a general store, little further (20 min) to a walmart. A map to get in and out of the developement would've been nice. My GPS sent me all over, where my cousins got right here in 3 turns. Overall, absolutely loved it. Not seaweedy/rocky to walk into the lake. Jumping off the dock. Very quiet lake, hardly anyone on it. Glass water every day. Very private. Canoe is huge n heavy, seats for 2. One kayak is pretty good. Recommend buying floats, like river tubes. Plenty of life jackets n paddles. Fire pit is large. Oh, there is a horseshoe pit too! Screened in porch is a great, but bring bug spray, bc its torn up in areas. Also not in the ad, there is the tv in the living room, but, both rooms also have one. I only used the main one w my netflicks the last day. I will be back!!

This was a cute little place in a nice quiet spot. We enjoyed being right on the lake. The yard was a good size with a fire pit and horseshoes. The bed setup in the second room was as described, but picture was outdated. Living room furniture has changed too. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was definitely cleaned as well as local housekeeping could, but there were larger deep cleaning issues. The view was amazing, just a couple of items of furnishing were in disrepair (a broken chair, a few nonoperational window coverings) and the walls were dingy.

Went for my wife’s birthday. The cabin was clean and well-appointed. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The pond was large with plenty of space to fish and kayak. We really enjoyed the fire pit at night and looking at the stars. A very relaxing and quiet retreat, especially for those who love nature. Would book again, thank you!

Entire place needed a VERY deep cleaning job inside and out. Lots of mold, dirt, cobwebs, etc. Furniture, kitchen appliances, floors, bath, etc. were clean. No instructions for TV, DVD, heaters, etc. Dock broken. House itself was nice, great location, extremely quiet.
