Modern floors, updated kitchen and bathrooms, new plumbing/electric/HVAC/water softener/well, and inviting decor will welcome you and give you the perfect luxury lake vacation. Wireless internet is ready for your use. When you're ready to relax, a smart TV provides access to your streaming apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc) in addition to cable. The firepit in the sand is a magical place to end the day. brbrThe yard features a large playset with swings for kids and also a Step 2 climber for toddlers. There is over 1200sf of beautiful decking to welcome you comfortably to the outdoors. The front porch offers a quiet respite to enjoy the birds and trees. The upper level deck is on the lakeside and features comfortable sectional seating and breathtaking lake views. The lower level deck offers direct access to the kitchen and features two dining areas and additional seating. brbrThis home is located on the 90-acre Cable Lake, which is a private, non-motor lake in Sister Lakes, MI. This quiet, clean lake is perfect for stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, paddle boating, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, and swimming. The fishing is outstanding on Cable Lake. brbrCable and the surrounding lakes offer fishing for panfish, bass, walleye, pike, and musky. The St Joseph river is a true fishing destination and just 20 minutes away. Depending on the time of year, renowned steelhead fishing, as well as coho and king salmon, walleye, smallmouth bass, pike, and panfish are available. brbrWe also have platted access to a dedicated boat launch less than 1/4 mile away for all-sport Little Crooked Lake, so bring your boats and water toys and enjoy the best of both worlds! Five additional all-sport lakes lie within a few miles of the property.brbrPlease note that some amenities are stored for winter during the low season. I have been coming to Sister Lakes for many years.The wonderful experiences have always provided a sense of calm and tranquility. When I leave, I am left with the feeling that I can't wait to get back. I have friends that have vacationed with us for a weekend and stayed for weeks. We have countless memories of family and friends learning to swim, drive a boat, pontoon, or Jet Ski, or playing catch in the water diving for a ball off the raft. Cook on an outside gas grill, Weber charcoal kettle or open fire pit. Fish, float around tied to the raft with a cooler, sit in chairs while in the water and get too much sun! There is not a better place to get together, it just doesn't get any better than this! brbr The fall brings out natures unbelievable colors. The Lake quiets down compared to the summer and the water becomes a mirror of the colors on the trees. You can smell burning leaves as homeowners prepare for the next season of winter which usually turns into Winter Wonderland. Stoke a fire in the fireplace or fire pit, clear some snow and skate on the Lake. Shoot a puck on the virgin ice and if you miss it, skate across the Lake to retrieve. Ice fish, sled, or snowmobile. There are hundreds of miles of trails to enjoy. Then before you know it spring jumps out in vibrant green.
