The 'Benjamin Darling House' was (re)constructed in the early 1700s from timbers of a house that was built following an original Native American land-tract purchase in 1661 near Plymouth. The house was moved to its present East Dennis location in the 1960s and has been completely modernized. Two additions later, the 2,600 home offers unique charm and provenance.brbrThis 4 bedroom, 3 bath property, situated on 2 acres of privacy, is located exactly 1 mile from the beach; an easy walk through a quaint Cape Cod village still retaining many of its existing late 1700s houses. A small pond and “herring run”, and “ancient” cemetery (dating back to the 1600s) abuts the property.
