Located on the edge of Red River Gorge Geological Area in 20 acres of peaceful woodland and rolling hills, our home is the perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion. Wake up in our quaint English-styled cottage and enjoy the fields and hills, birds at the porch feeders, and all the flowers blooming in the garden all summer long . Enjoy the hot tub! It's just 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park and 5 minutes from Stanton for shops and restaurants.brbrLarkspur Cabin has two covered porches. The front porch with a love seat and two chairs, overlooks a large lawn, fire pit and the riding ring. brbrThe private and secluded side deck has a 4 person hot tub. brbrIn the summer, enjoy the perennial garden with butterfly bushes and roses. Take advantage of the outdoors on beautiful days with a campfire and charcoal grill. There is plenty of private parking space next to the cottage. The cottage is set 300 ft away from the main house (where we live) and 200 feet from Dappled Grey, the other cabin on our property. A barn separates the cabin from the house, adding more privacy and seclusion for our guests. Feel free to hike the gravel road and forest path to make a loop around our 20 acres.brbrThe entirety of Larkspur Cabin is solely for guest use. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn, grill and bonfire area outside the cottage.brbrGreg and I travel a great deal, but if we are home, we are happy to chat with you if you so desire!brbrbrbrWe are located in a country neighborhood just outside of Stanton, KY. 15 minutes away from Natural Bridge State Park and the heart of Red River Gorge. Take Mountain Parkway to the Slade exit, and access to miles of hiking trails and climbing walls. Attractions include Gorge Underground, minigolf, the Nada Tunnel, Glady Visitor Center, the Kentucky Reptile Zoo (with almost 2000 species of reptiles!) Zip lines and many more exciting things to do. While we are set in the country, we are very close to Stanton (just 5 min drive), with access to shopping, restaurants and other amenities.
