It was really nice to just be able to walk up to the door put a personalized code in and walk in and really just not have to do anything else, but check out the place and rest. Great space for sharing time with family and also finding moments to be by yourself. This was my very first time in a log cabin, and I don't think it'll be my last.

Loved everything about the cabin, but road in needs repair.

Cute cabin. Quiet area. My only complaint are the beds - both were extremely wore out and uncomfortable. My husband was ready to go home after the first night because it hurt his back so bad.

The road leading to the cabin was in very poor shape. Huge holes and drop offs were very unsafe for any vehicle.

The cabin was perfect! I agree with many reviews that you do need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle to get there in the winter. Great location and close to all the great activities the Gorge has to offer!

The cabin was very nice and clean. It was an adventure to get to, but the cabin was perfect for the 4 of us.

We loved the location of this cabin. We enjoy all this area has to offer. We spent time in both Franklin and Highlands, and the drive to Highlands has to be one of the most beautiful in the United States. The cabin was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We came for fall color, and the view out the front window did not disappoint. We wanted to use the king bed and weren't particularly fond of the spiral staircase, but that was a minor inconvenience. We hope to stay here again!

Two friends and I came to hike and kayak for a weekend. The turn off for the cabin was tricky to find and luckily we were in a 4 wheel drive truck because the road up to the property was steep and full of potholes. The cabin was very nice, clean and met our needs. The showers could use updating but were adequate. There is no wifi but the cellular connection was pretty good. Overall we enjoyed our stay but next time I will look for something easier to get to with WiFi.

Check in was very easy! Wifi would be nice so that you can stream movies and shows on the TV. There is an issues with ants in the kitchen, which is understandable due to the location of the cabin. The sheets could be upgraded, they are kind of rough feeling from being washed so much.

The outside looks inviting but inside the light in the kitchen would not work-only flickered, the shower leaked and was not caulked properly, and the sheets were so scratchy that we had to go purchase sheets just to sleep one night.

Very nice secluded cabin. Crater at the bottom of the entrance was a bit much. We had a great time and would love to come back!

Necessary information from host/management company was omitted. Even when asked, responses from host were incomplete. We had to figure things out on our own.Property was very nice and as advertised. Roadways and gravel laneways were difficult; likely no sedan could get to property even in good weather. Heating and A/C worked well. Mattresses are aging -- should definitely be replaced, especially on the first floor. Flat-top stove, toaster, and microwave worked well. All communication with management is thru VRBO app, which is a problem at the Wildcat cabin which has limited cell service. If you are inexperienced with the VRBO app, make sure you get all your questions answered before you go!Overall nice cabin. Comfortable and clean.

Upper floor bedroom missing divider to lower level.Lights from family room made sleeping in upper floor bedroom difficult. Upper floor toilet needs work, toilet ran continuously.Steps to loft bedroom need tape on each step to visually separate steps when climbing. Beautiful wood steps visually blend together making dangerous walking especially in evening.Unit VERY Clean-Thank you!

The property was great and we had a great stay. The location is nice, but the drive up to the property is challenging. Luckily we were in a vehicle that could manage it, but a lot of cars would likely struggle getting up the hill and bottom out with all the dips and uneven pavement. I would still recommend, but warn occupants to prepare accordingly.

The cabin was nice with plenty of room.. the hot tub didn’t hold heat though .. we adjusted the heat and it couldn’t seem to get there. So we weren’t really able to use which was a bummer. However i loved the area and was impressed with the view. Hiking trails were cool as well

The cabin was perfect. It was super clean and adorable inside. It had everything you needed to enjoy your stay and was in such a convenient location. We had an SUV and the road still was a little tricky in places with giant holes but we managed. We will definitely be returning.
