Silverwood Theme Park is a thirty minute drive north, and Spokane and Spokane International Airport are around thirty five minutes west.brbrThe home backs onto the first full build of Village Collective's Host to Harvest program, where we aim to grow vegetables, herbs, and seasonal produce that we share with guests through a complimentary in-season welcome box. Local makers, growers, and roasters are all called out in your digital guidebook.brbrThe whole home is yours during your stay. That includes all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the upstairs kitchen and living room, the downstairs game room, the laundry room, and the entire backyard.brbrA note on the upstairs primary bath: it sits across the hall from the king bedroom and can be closed off as a private ensuite or opened up as a daytime guest bath using the barn door. When friends come by during the day, that's the bath they'll use. The downstairs bath is shared between the two queen bedrooms.brbrParking fits two cars in the driveway, with additional street parking on either side of the house. Well-behaved pets are welcome at $25 per pet, per night, and the yard is fully fenced. We ask that pets stay out of the fenced in garden areas. brbrThe garage is locked for owner storage, please do not go in the garage.brbrThis is a split-level home that spans 1,600 sq ft across two levels.brbrThe upstairs primary suite is the largest bedroom: a king bed, smart TV, small desk, walk-in closet, and a private bath with a jetted tub and tile shower. They share a full bath in the downstairs hallway.brbrThe game room is set up for evenings in. There's a round table for board games, a Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart, a retro PlayStation with Dance Dance Revolution (We're working on getting more classic PS2 games!), a karaoke machine, and a DVD player with a movie library. The sofa folds out into an additional bed. Two fold-out single beds also live in a downstairs closet and can be set up in the game room, in one of the bedrooms, or upstairs in the living room when groups exceed 6. With those extras, the home sleeps up to 10. Base configuration is 6.brbrThe kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, dishwasher, full size fridge, farmhouse sink, all the cooking supplies you should need, and counter space for group cooking. The dining table seats eight, and the upstairs living room opens out toward the backyard.brbrOutside, the backyard is the heart of the property and the place where Village Collective's Host-to-Harvest pilot is taking shape. A Bullfrog A Series hot tub on the back patio (this is not your typical workhorse rental hot-tub) uses Bullfrog's JetPak Therapy System, where each seat targets a different muscle group: shoulders and neck, lower back, calves, feet. After a day on the Centennial Trail, on the slopes at Silver Mountain or Schweitzer, or out on the lake, the heat works on muscle recovery, joint relief, sleep, and circulation.brbrA wood burning solo-stove fire pit, charcoal grill, stone patio, and shaded pergola with a cute swing for the kids (adults please don't use the swing) round out the rest of the outdoor space. A Vego greenhouse and eight new raised beds are coming online this season, and when the gardens are in full production guests can expect a complimentary welcome box of fresh produce on arrival, This is a work in progress! We'll keep guests posted on what's growing as the season unfolds.brbrA personal vehicle is recommended for getting around. Uber and Lyft are available throughout the Coeur d'Alene area, and the Citylink bus route runs nearby. The home is about thirty five minutes from Spokane International Airport, 30 from Silverwood theme park. brbrYour stay is hosted by Village Collective, a local, family-run team based in Coeur d'Alene. You'll receive a detailed guidebook pointing you toward the local makers, growers, coffee roasters, and neighborhood spots we actually love. If anything comes up during your stay, we're always just a message away.
