The restoration project included 2 miles of Fox Creek and the creation of three ponds across the property. As a result, native Yellowstone cutthroat, brook, and cut-bow hybrid trout again spawn in the creek, endangered bird species (including trumpeter swans) have been released on our ponds, and sandhill cranes perform mating dances in our fields. Guests can birdwatch from the house or on a walk around the property to see species like cranes, eagles, osprey, hawks, owls, ducks, geese, kingfishers, bobolinks, red-winged blackbirds, curlew and many more. It was tastefully designed with rough cut 1x8 cedar walls. This tiny home is for the adventurous. You need to climb ladders to get into the lofts. There are a variety of finishes to the cedar to give it a truly unique look. The kitchen has quartz countertops, under cabinet lights, a uniquely compact oven, and has some mid-century modern designed appliances including a record player with an assortment of records. The flooring is a luxury vinyl that is waterproof and very durable. All the furniture is mid-century modern, including the sofa which also pulls out into a twin bed. Overall, the floor plan is a studio. There are 2 lofts with queen beds, so a total of 5 can sleep on beds. The bathroom is small but fully functional.
