McDonough. He was elected to a two-year term as Alderman on the City Council in 1889. He was elected Mayor of Savannah in 1891 over incumbent John Schwarz and won re-election in 1893. This is an overtop of another property that is operated as an office space during the day, however, your entry is completely private with access entering in from the lane!brbrThis space offers a kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge, this is not a full kitchen so it is best suited for those looking to enjoy all the amazing restaurants Savannah has to offer. You can easily reheat leftovers and store drinks/water in the fridge, just be sure to grab take out utensils as we do not supply cookware and dining!brbrPLEASE NOTE: We do not have glasses/cups for drinking water, dishes, WINE glasses, Utensils, etc... If you want to drink wine, please plan to pick up some to-go wine cups or bring your own!brbrWe also do not provide bath soap, shampoo or conditioner. City of Savannah offers a Visitor DAYPASS allows limited parking in any City parking garage/lot, parking overtime in limited time zones or at any parking meter with a time limit of one hour or more for a period of 48 hours from purchase. The Visitor DAYPASS is available to Savannah visitors for a price of $24 for 2 days and $15 for a single day.brbrTroup Square is the park just south of this carriage house. Liberty Street is one of the streets north of here filled with tons of restaurants, bars, shopping and more!brbrInteraction with guestsbrbrHands-off. You will receive a door code prior to checking in. If you have questions prior to arriving, just let me know however it is very likely you will not meet me as that is the way I prefer to travel anyway! :DbrbrOther things to notebrbr- The hallway is quite narrow as this is a historic property so please do not bring any large bags. br- We do not provide silverware, plates, napkins, etc. br-THERE IS NO KITCHEN (nor cups/drinking water provided, etc)br-There is ONLY a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. We also do not provide bath soap, shampoo or conditioner. Please make plans to bring your own.br-We do not have glasses/cups for drinking water, dishes, WINE glasses, utensils, etc... If you want to drink wine, please plan to pick up some to-go wine cups or bring your own! We also have an antenna for local channels, however, we do not offer cable.brbrAll pets must be preapproved before booking. 50lbs limit. We do not allow cats/other animals. br*Dogs are WELCOME! However, you must indicate the size, breed, and age in your booking ahead of time, so please do not instantly book if you intend to bring a dog (Pitbull or Bully Breeds, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann or Any other aggressive breed are not allowed). A pet fee of $100 will be required per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in.brbrPlease note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. King room #1 has chaise lounge and adjoins to the living room. The Middle King Room has an antique red velvet couch, fireplace and full size closet with views of Troup Square. Queen bedroom is cozy with views of Troup Square. brbrFull size laundry washer/dryer is located in living room closet. brbrThe locals cruise up and down the street on the weekends & in the evenings by bike. This residential area is a gem as it is more quiet than the central historic district yet you can still stroll the streets with an Open Container of your favorite adult beverage and it is perfectly legal!brbrFrom the bedrooms, you'll be looking out at sky and magical oak branches drenched with Spanish moss. Relax and recharge with the whole family at our tranquil, updated 1930s historic home located in an extremely quiet neighborhood on Wilmington Island - 15 minutes from historic downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee Island beach - but once you are greeted by the live oaks draped in Spanish moss and see the view of Half Moon River, we are pretty sure you won't want to leave this hidden oasis.brThe downstairs consists of a fully stocked spacious kitchen, including an island for the family to gather around, with a connected family room for cozy movie nights. Guests may also enjoy a formal dining room that seats up to six, a formal living room with a large sectional, and a sunroom that has a breakfast table and another seating area for evening conversations while watching the sun set over the marsh. There is one bedroom, with a queen bed and two generous closets, on the first floor. The downstairs is completed by a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. brThe upstairs consists of the spacious master suite, two additional bedrooms, and an additional full bathroom. The master suite has a king bed, walk-in closet, reading nook, and water view. The updated master bathroom has a soaking tub to enjoy after long days at the beach. The third bedroom has two twin beds while the fourth bedroom has a full bed. Each bedroom, as well as the family room, has a flat screen television. brWe have a generous sized backyard that is fenced in on three sides (open to the marsh), which is great for dogs! Come enjoy the hammock, Adirondack chairs, and picnic table next to the charcoal grill. brWe also have some beach gear that you are more than welcome to use (beach umbrella, beach chairs, toys, cooler, beach towels, etc.)! br- You will have access to the entire home except for one owner’s closet upstairs and one owner’s closet downstairs. br- We do allow two dogs, up to 50 pounds each. The pet fee is $150 per dog. We do ask that you confirm with us that they are on flea control. They are not allowed on furniture or bedding, doing so will result in an extra $250 cleaning fee. As much as we love all animals we ask that you please find alternate arrangements for all other pets (cats, birds, snakes, etc.). Thank you for your understanding! br- Our home has floor vents throughout the downstairs. We ask that you do not cover these vents with furniture as it results in trapped air. br- Please be a good neighbor! Our neighborhood observes quiet hours from 8pm to 8am. br- To maintain our home's safety and comfort, we can only accommodate the number of guests listed in your original booking. Neither additional or undisclosed guests nor parties or events are permitted as this affects our insurance and safety protocols. If this policy does not align to the intentions of your trip we kindly ask that you consider alternate accommodations.
