It was a joy not only to explore the history of Savannah, but also to actually live in a beautiful historic house during our stay.We loved the thoughtful details throughout the home, especially the collection of books and art. The house has been modernized while preserving its original character and charm.The space worked perfectly for our group of two couples. We cooked about half our meals at home, and the kitchen was well-appointed and a pleasure to use. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. One small note: the house is located in lively downtown Savannah, so I found earplugs helpful for sleeping.Communication with our host before and during our stay was quick and easy.Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful historic home in Savannah’s Historic District. Great location, walked to many attractions. Host was wonderful- checked in with us and made sure everything good.

The parking is very secure and there is free parking along a nearby side street. The house is in a good location and a short walk to any place in the historic district. Communications with the host were excellent.

Me and some friends booked this house for a weekend trip. It was very clean and everything worked properly. The host communicated well before, during and after our stay. The location is right near all the downtown attractions, bars, restaurants, etc. The only negative thing to be aware of is the house is located on a main thoroughfare, so you will hear noise from loud cars and motorcycles, especially Friday and Saturday nights. Obviously this is not something the host can control, but wanted to mention it for those it might effect. Overall recommended.

The house was excellent and beautiful. We enjoyed the comfort of the home and the convenience of the location being within walking distance of so many Savannah attractions. Additionally the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful with great local suggestions.

Perfect house for a visit to Savana. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and Debbie was great at making sure we were organized for easy check-in and explanation of how to use the house, locks, TV, secure parking area. It was everything we wanted in an easy walk to everything we wanted to go to in Savannah

Fantastic location, we didn't have to move our car the entire time.the house has plenty of room.there were 5 of us and we didn't feel cramped at all

This house has so much charm and is located so close to many attractions. We walked just about everywhere. You will not find a better host than Debbie. She sincerely cares about everyone staying in her house. If you are planning a trip to Savannah this is the place to stay.

The owner is very helpful at every turn and the house is great, my daughter loved it. Great spot to walk tons of places, plenty of space, and really appreciated the secure parking. The note the stairs are steep is true. If you have knee issues/stair issues (like my mom) it might not be the best choice. And if you need complete silence to sleep, maybe bring ear plugs. It is what it is as an older house and you can hear some street noise at night. Overall great home, great location, great stay.

3 generations of family enjoyed this very comfortable home with its large dining table with room for us all. We ate together, played games, worked on computers, did art projects and browsed thru the amazing book collection. There’s plenty of hot water for showers, a 2nd floor deck for morning coffee with a pile of umbrellas by the front door. The decor is fabulous! Cha-Bella, one of the best restaurants in town is a local favorite and right across the street! We’ll be coming back for sure.

Stayed here for a few days around New Years. It was cute. A little far for walking to some of the places we like in Savannah but we enjoyed our stay.

The only issue with this trip is that we did not book enough days! Beautiful, comfortable home located in a very convenient walkable location. We spent most of our day walking, eating and admiring the neighborhood homes and Christmas decorations. In the evenings we all sat cozy in the dinning room/sunroom combination and fell into our comfy beds at night! An absolute wonderful experience contacting the host, Debbie. Top notch communication. This is the best property we have ever found on VRBO. Beautiful home; warm and comfortable. Top notch amenities. Able to walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops downtown and along the river. Will definitely book this property again if we re-visit Savannah in the future.
