The bed is queen size and there is an electric fireplace for a romantic ambiance with or without running the heater. Watch a flatscreen HDTV, read, or play games. Cook in, or take a short walk to one of the wonderful restaurants within a ten minute leisurely walk. You name it, this kitchen has it. Keurig coffee pot, toaster, cookware, bakeware and basic supplies such as oils and spices. High quality linens are included along with a hair dryer, shampoo, soaps, lotions, iron and ironing board. br brThe courtyard is shared with us and our dog (Freddie). Former guests will remember our amazing Dog Gus who was such a delight and a great greeter of all guests human and canine. Gus has gone to doggie heaven as of April 2025 and our new Pup Freddie has taken over his role. We live in the main house. The courtyard is complete with fountain and perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. You might catch us using our Big Green Egg for our outdoor cooking and would be happy to share our hot coals with you. As native Californians we use wine for cooking, drinking and making new friends. You will have private access to the carriage house from the lane. There is plenty of free parking on the street. Just be mindful of street sweeping hours.brbrJones E. Carriage House is walking distance to everything in historic downtown Savannah. Have coffee in the courtyard then walk 2 blocks to the famous Clary's Cafe on E. Jones St. Stroll a few more beautiful blocks for shopping or dining at the landmark restaurant of Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room. Enjoy all the festivities Forsyth Park has to offer just a few blocks away. From the carriage house walk up Habersham St. through several lovely squares to River Street. Just as easily walk to City Market or to any of the many wonderful restaurants along the way.
