Boat and Jet Ski rentals are available nearby at Sinclair Marina and Sinclair Wild Watersports. Crooked Creek Marina is less than a 10 minute drive with a boat launch for just $10. With an equally short boat ride from the house, Crooked Creek Marina also has a restaurant, fuel docks, and a store. The water depth at the boathouse is between 3-4 feet with around 12 ft depth at the opening of the cove perfect for a swim! Nearby attractions include: Oconee Springs Park which has a large beach area with a lakeside inflatable Water park, store and fuel docks and is a short drive or boat ride away. The Oconee River Greenway Park and Riverwalk in Milledgeville offer trails, paths and boardwalks to walk, jog, bicycle, relax and enjoy the beauty and sounds of the Oconee River. There are also fishing stations, a dog park and a boat ramp to launch a kayak or canoe. Bring your golf clubs or rent them at one of the world class golf courses all within about a 30 minute drive away. The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds at Lake Oconee is also about a 30 minute drive with a casual dining restaurant and seasonal events. Some of our favorite restaurants are Taylor’s Cove (by car or boat), Aubri Lane’s, and The Silver Moon.
