Hunter Springs Park features a sandy beach for swimmers, a kayak launch, a picnic area, plus a boardwalk for viewing manatees. Kings Bay also has a kayak launch, fishing pier, and three waterfront restaurants serving seafood, often fresh off the boat from the two waterfront fishing operations. Within a few blocks of these two iconic manatee hangouts are several incredible restaurants, cafes, and unique shopping venues on North Citrus Avenue. One of Professor Rousseau’s favorite places to shop and dine is Amy’s.br brAnother City close by is Dunnellon. For those of you that have decided to launch your boat and travel to the Withlacoochee and Rainbow Rivers, two notable restaurants are the Blue Gator Tiki Bar and Swampy’s. Leave early to grab your boat parking spot during busy seasons! brbrCheck out the menus for these restaurants and more in your Fishing RV Retreat Home Book.brbrGetting Around:brIf your idea of getting around includes a boat, kayak, or canoe, or if you enjoy fishing, you’ll love Professor Rousseau’s. Fish from our dock and utilize our fish cleaning station next to the shore. Launch your aquatic device from our private boat ramp or dock, and you’re on Lake Rousseau, a human-made 3,657-acre lake that offers incredible fishing opportunities.
