Everything you need for the beach is included in the condo (towels, umbrellas, toys, wireless speaker etc), so you can spend more time focusing on your vacation. The condo has three bedrooms, including a set of twin over twin bunk beds, so you could invite friends/family to enjoy your vacation with you. After a long day, you can sit on the expansive balcony and enjoy the limitless views of the ocean as you take in that salty air. We also have cable/internet including HBO if you need to refresh in the AC. For your protection and our property, we placed one camera (Ring doorbell) looking out from the door that is only triggered when someone enters/exits the unit. Our family visits the condo as much as possible and we want our guests to enjoy it just as much. brbrMy wife and I manage the condo ourselves, so it is vital you have a great stay. You will gain access through the electronic door lock and enter into the fully equipped, brand new kitchen with granite and all the essentials for cooking. There is bar seating, as well as a dining table for 4 outside of the kitchen. In the living room there is a pullout queen sofa and 2 chairs, as well as a nice sized smart TV. brOff of the living room, you have sliders to your private balcony. Enter into the master bedroom where you can see the Gulf of Mexico out the window from your King size bed! This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. brIn the hallway off the kitchen you will find a washer and dryer, a guest bath with standup shower and the doorway to the small 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with a full size bed, a dresser and a mounted smart TV on the wall.brbrGuests have access to a pool and hot tub that is shared between guests of Madeira Bay Resort, as well as a gym which is in the building adjacent to ours. Beach access is right across the street from our building and there is a safe crosswalk for you to cross located right downstairs. You are also walking distance from the John's Pass Boardwalk, which has tons of restaurants, shops and things to do. If you want to rent a boat slip or do water activities, there are tons of rentals in the area!brbrThis condo is located in Madeira Bay Resort, which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico just across the street and John's Pass Boardwalk a block away. If you're looking to enjoy the beach, water activities, shopping and restaurants, this is an amazing location! Madeira Beach was named the #5 beach in America, competing with several other Gulf towns in the area. There is a grocery store within 2 miles of the condo, though there are many restaurants and bars in easy walking distance.brbrGuests will have access to parking for one car during their booked stay. Parking is limited directly in the beach areas, though there are paid lots and garages should you need to park a second car or have a visitor for the day. brUber and Lyft are readily available, as well as the trolley system that travels between the local beach areas. brIf you do not have a vehicle, there is so much you can walk to and delivery service options are available for groceries, food, liquor, baby equipment, etc.br- Responsible party booking and staying must be 22 or olderbr- This is a completely no smoking property, there is no smoking inside OR on balconybr- Linens are provided at the unit, as well as a starting supply of essentials such as toilet paper and paper towels. A few steps away is your gas grill, next to a picnic table and chairs with an umbrella, all next to the Intracoastal.br-In large dark grey seat/storage bin in the lanai you'll find beach necessities, beach wagon, beach chairs, beach umbrella/sand screw, cooler, sand toys, beach football.brThe property is a very large condo complex and this condo is at the extreme West end (closest to the beach). When you enter the complex through the gated drive the Clubhouse will be on your left. The condo is to your right, all the way to the end. In the Clubhouse you will find the fitness center, billiard room, jacuzzi and sauna. Next to the clubhouse is the first pool, with the second one a short walk to the east, both are heated and open from 8:30am to 10:00pm. There is a sidewalk next to the Intracoastal that follows the entire complex and leads to fishing piers and beautiful water views. From here you can see boats passing, and the Madeira Beach (Tom Stuart) Causeway with drawbridge. All along the sidewalk are concrete picnic tables with umbrellas and benches for anyone to use. It's not uncommon to see dolphins, manatees, and fish jumping during your walk. brWe hope you Enjoy!brWhen you drive in the Madeira Beach Yacht Club Complex, the Clubhouse building will be on your left. You will be sent instructions to enter the gate 48 hours prior to your arrival. The condo is at the West end, so turn right and it's all the way at the end in the first building. The enter, just walk between building 151 and 155. #A (your condo) is the first one on your right. Step through the screen door and there is a blue sign that says Welcome, and we mean it. :-) brThe front door has a keypad and the code will be sent to you 48 hours before your arrival along with the gate instructions. Plenty of free parking, a few steps from your front door, all is ground level. br-At this West end of the Complex is a pedestrian gate. Exit the gate and cross Municipal Drive (a small street) to find the Winn Dixie grocery store, liquor store, dollar store, and CVS. Walk another block to find Surf Style (a large beach store), and mini-golf.br-To get to the beach you will cross Municipal Drive, then Gulf Blvd. at the crosswalk into the parking lot for the restaurant/beach bar Snack Shack. They have fun food and drinks and there are rest rooms and a beach shower. If you'd rather drive there is paid beach parking in that lot. On the beach you'll find lounge chairs and canopies to rent. br-If you exit the gate and turn left you'll find Madeira Way, which has some incredibly fun beach bars, restaurants, post office, specialty shops and the new Cambria Hotel with a rooftop bar and they have small menu items. They also have boat rentals, kayak and paddle board rentals, scooters and bike rentals too all across the water and right around the corner.br-There are many, many restaurants/bars within walking distance. br-Walking East back to the main entrance to the Complex, exit the pedestrian gate and cross the street, Rex Place to ROC (Remember Our Children) Park. There you will find tennis courts, pickleball court, a squash wall, basketball court and children's play area. Local T-ball, Little League, softball and baseball leagues also play here and frequently there are festivals. br It's also on the water so the views are beautiful and there's usually a breeze on the hottest of days.br-The Beach trolley stop is on Gulf Blvd. within a 3 minute walk. It will take you along the islands North to Clearwater Beach or South to St. Petersburg Beach/Pass-a-grille Beach. It's best to buy the pass for the day and you can jump on and off as much as you'd like. It's about $5. They also have 3, 7, and 31 day passes. Uber and Lyft is also plentiful. br2 miles south of the Complex is John's Pass. It's a tourist destination with 130 shops, bars and restaurants such as Bubba Gumps and Hooters. Here you can rent boats, jet skis, parasail, go on a dolphin cruise, sunset cruise, or even a pirate ship.brTravel information regarding the area, maps, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, menus, etc. are all available in the condo.brAs mentioned above there is a gate code to enter the property and a code to enter the front door of the condo. Both of these will be sent to you about 48 hours prior to your check-in date. The key to the pedestrian gates and the key fob to the Clubhouse are hanging on the key hooks next to the front door. The Guest Manual which contains our (my family) contact information, along with emergency numbers, Wi-Fi log-in and other important things to know about the condo, Complex and the area is on the white table under the TV. An area map along with menus and entertainment flyers are available in the blue folder and we'd love for you to leave a note in the Guest Book to let other guests know you were there.
