Kings Bay Inlet front house with 4 bedrooms and 3

The house was nice with a pretty view, but read closely though they said bottom level isn’t available the pictures and bedroom numbers are still off so it’s misleading. I also think because of the hurricane damage there is some black mold. It’s in a nice location but the water infront of the house is super super shallow so definitely not boat navigatable

This home is not in rental condition let alone normal home stay. There is animal urine and feces stains all over the carpets with a smell that is unbearable. We did not last three hours in this home and I am demanding a refund. Not only is this Home unlivable upstairs, but the description mentions only missing the beds and kitchenette downstairs and come to find out the downstairs is gutted with no clue if mold remediation has been done. There was debris, left all over the yard, including a knife, nails screws, wires pieces of metal and this home should not be rented in any way shape or form.

My family and I had a great stay in Crystal River!! The location of this place was perfect and the springs here are incredibly beautiful!

So many manatees out back that a tour group with 2 boats was here yesterday! We helped them spot manatees from the huge dock. The hoise and dock were great!

We had to leave a day early, we had to evacuate because of the storm , other then that everything was good.

We walked into the house and the smell of marijuana was overwhelming I reached out to the host and she told me it was the ocean air! Not the case the neighbors told us that the previous renters had the police called on them and they to could smell it. The house was not well-maintained. There was large amounts of dog hair on all the furniture, I would not allow my children to sit on the couch it was so gross. We had to wash the sheets downstairs before we were able to sleep on them, we had to go out to purchase pots pans and other kitchen necessities for cooking because the limited supplies were disgusting and weren’t in a safe condition to use. The downstairs cold water was turned off and we only realized that when my 9 year old son burned his hands when we went to wash them. The air vents and returns were full of dust and mold. On a positive note the neighborhood was great and we were able to keep our boat behind the house. It is VERY shallow so you must navigate carefully because of the large rocks.

We had an enjoyable stay in Crystal River, but would only choose to stay at the house again at a lower price point or with some TLC. The location is great, right on the lagoon and a short paddle to the bay. We saw manatees not far from the house in the bay. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our two families of 4. The photos on the listing were taking by a very talented photographer at great angles. Not pictured is the hole in the deck covered by heavy plastic plywood. Still only a tiny coffee maker for a large house and not nearly enough cups. The game room is a joke - non functioning or missing parts to all but the ping pong table. Pictionary game was so old that the timer sand had solidified. Canoe collecting water and rotting away in the yard. Had the feel of a state of the art house in the 90s without much updating since then. I have concerns about the authenticity of the owners - they claim to stay in all of their houses with their family to ensure adequate comfort. If that’s true they haven’t been there for awhile! Dock was okay - not nearly as nice as pictures but I did allow my kids to go on it (with supervision). Missing one board on the bottom, missing one safety fence rail on the top, another piece of plywood covering some unsafe pieces. Was covered in bird poop the first day, rain luckily washed that away. No safe seating (breaking plastic chair). We did lose power due to a storm, host was responsive but unaware until I messaged.

Even though a hurricane had come through, I did not know the damage it had caused. I was told it was OK to come. Most of what was wrong had nothing to do with the storm. When we arrived, the air was not working. To their credit, someone was there to work on it promptly. However, it took about 4 hours for the house to cool down. The floor in the downstairs bedroom was wet. I dried it with towels. The downstairs toilet did not work until Monday night. The downstairs shower never did get hot. There were several rotten boards with holes in them on the upstairs deck. The remotes for the ceiling fans did not work. These are just some of the problems we faced. We left a day early. I sent the owners a message just like this the day we returned home. I have not heard from them. I do not recommend this property until the problems are fixed. This is the first negative review I have ever left.

Had a little hiccups but the host was on it.

When you pay significant amount a night for a place you expect the pictures to accurately represent the house. This was not the case. PICTURES DO NOT REPRESENT THE HOUSE. Location was perfect but the house had wood rot all over the deck, rusted nails sticking out, sliding glass doors didn’t close all the way, chemicals within child reach, no working grill, hardly any kitchen utensils, non working kitchen light, everything in game room was in terrible shape, main refrigerator broke, entire top deck of dock was about to fall through, 1 of the 4 ceiling fans had a remote, junk laying all throughout the house. This is a rental that has been used and abused- not up kept.
