The luxurious main house is where you'll find the full kitchen stocked with coffee, tea and spices, as well as an eat-in bar and dining area. There are two separate living rooms to relax in. We offer 2 King Bedrooms & 1 Queen Bedroom. Enjoy 3 full size bathrooms, two which feature luxury soaking tubs. Step out to the salt water pool/spa area and you'll find a hammock and sun chairs to soak up the high desert rays, plus an outdoor shower for an exhilarating experience! Our 5 acres is completely fenced should you desire to bring your pup along. Nights under the stars are even better around our propane firepit, and we also offer a gas grill for cooking out. The property boasts of an EV charger which is complimentary to use. Restaurants and groceries in 29 Palms are just a 15-20 minute drive away...but we recommend stocking up before you come, because we're sure when you get here you won't want to leave. This is a Peaceful Stargazing Glamping experience. This is not the place to have a loud party and guests will be asked to leave if they cannot follow the house rules. The desert is like a boom box so loud music and loud conversation are not welcome. Quiet time is 9:30 pm. We welcome a guitar around the fire pit type atmosphere but loud music from a car or speaker will not be tolerated. Please understand there are other guests and neighbors who may have different taste in music and they are here to enjoy peace and tranquility. brbr brbrPlenty of parking on the property. brbr brbr~I provide bedding and pillows for the ‘Corduroy’, queen, foam-filled floor bed, if you plan to use it as a bed and not just as a chair but I must have a total guest count before arrival. brbr~Please note to bring layers as the desert, though warm during the day, can be chilly at night. A desert-style, homemade system of pumps, valves and thermometers channel the 160-degree water into the small hot-tub-like pool to mix with the cool circulating mineral water, and automatically shuts off when the temperature reaches 102 degrees. The overflow from the hot pool moves to the cool pool, and the water from the cool pool moves throughout the landscape. Keep music and voices at a level that does not disturb neighbors - sound carries easily in the desert.br• Quiet Hours (9:45 PM - 7:00 AM): we ask that all noise be kept indoors at a respectable level. This means no loud conversations, music, or gatherings especially in the backyard.br• Prohibited Equipment: No decks, turntables, boom boxes, large speakers, or similar devices. This well-preserved 1950s homestead sits on 2.5 desert acres in a secluded spot on the outskirts of Twentynine Palms. The property is 15 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park north entrance. You feel away from it all, but are convenient to all the local amenities. Enjoy quiet evenings under the stars, or kick back on the porch after a day of hiking in the park. We have one master bedroom and a bonus bedroom in a sunny alcove in the front of the house. The house comfortably sleeps up to two couples. A cozy living room features a fireplace to take the nip off the chilly nights. Eat breakfast under the shade of the pepper tree and you might spot jackrabbits, coyotes, roadrunners and quail. At night have a barbecue and then relax under starry skies and shooting stars (seriously, lots of shooting stars). Take a bath in our outdoor clawfoot tub.
