Stayed Feb 1, 2026Excellent property, very cozy and aesthetic. I would definitely come back. The inside was clean and inviting and the hosts were very attentive and informative. The place had everything we could need, from fire pit roasting utensils to board games to cooking essentials. Loved the hot tub and proximity to Joshua Tree.

Stayed Dec 17, 2025Did not receive check-in info to enter home and had to stay in hotel the first night. Antony was very helpful after, made sure to reimburse for the inconvenience, and communicated throughout the stay while being sick. The hot tub jets were not working (now on list to fix) but it was still hot and nice to relax during cooler nights. Neighbor was nice and we shared a few waves. Prepare to leave 1hr before sunrise to make it into park on time. Overall would stay again, just be sure to communicate early if auto messages aren’t received! Originally 3/4 stars but Antony really worked hard to fix everything and made my stay enjoyable.

Stayed May 27, 2025We stayed for a night on the way from San Diego to Phoenix and wanted to stop and visit Joshua Tree. Such a beautiful, comfortable hidden gem! We enjoyed a picnic at sunset, watching the stars without light pollution, and the hot tub was a great touch. Hosts were super communicative and hospitable (and loved the decor!!). Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

Stayed May 18, 2025Overall a good experience here. The house is lovely and everything worked and was clean inside the house. The pantries and fridge are the best stocked I've seen in a vacation rental.Outside the house a lot of things are worn down from being in the desert and could probably use some updating. There is a ragged but functional hammock, and yet there was what looked like a brand new hammock sitting inside the house that hadn't been put up. The hot tub works great. I did have some communications challenges with the property manager (not the owner themselves) who said they would send the check in details two days before check in, but I had to reach out to get those details the day before my trip (I was driving 600 miles, so I wanted to make sure there wasn't an issue before I got on the road). I was able to get that info, but it would be good if the property manager followed through with what they commit to in their messages. The next part is for the astronomers and astrophotographers. This location is Bortle 2-ish, which is one of the main reasons I chose it. There challenges you'll encounter, especially if you're an astrophotographer:1) The neighbor across the street has possibly the brightest porch light I have ever seen, and it never turns off. Outside the host's control, but it will impact your night vision. 2) This part of the desert is pretty windy. You'll have to strategically choose your setup location to avoid the wind. Overall, would rent again.
