Our cabin is located on a quiet horseshoe shaped street with little through traffic creating a safe environment for walking, biking and play. The driveway is flat and easily accommodates 4 cars. brbrOur home has a convenient layout enjoyable for both a single family as well as to share with another, sleeping 8. First floor: Open kitchen/dining/living area leading through double sliders to private back deck and wooded flat yard, full bath with jacuzzi tub, bedroom 1 with queen, bedroom 2 with 4 twin bunks. Upstairs: bedroom 3 with king, large bathroom with shower and loft area with flat screen TV (NetFlix, cable, WIFI) and storage shelves stocked with games, legos, art supplies, toys.brbrAll beds have new matresses, linens and down duvets. New hard flooring in living/dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Both baths and kitchen are updated with everything you need to feel at home. The backyard is flat creating a safe area for children and dogs to explore and has a horseshoe pit. What it lacks in terrain, it makes up for in price! The cross country ski center is one of the most extensive in the area. There is also a fun sledding hill. Our home is approximately 15 miles from Northstar resort as well as proximate to Squaw, Alpine, Sugar Bowl and Boreal. We don't have fancy granite countertops and a palacial shower, but it is clean, well stocked, and functional with a few USB plugs in the outlets as well as Netflix & Roku on the TV! brbrThis is an upstairs unit, so no noise from the neighbors above you! The neighbors Unit is privately owned, and is never noisy. The kitchen is stocked with minor items such as salt, pepper, a wide variety of seasonings, etc, pots, pans (new Summer 2021), Power Airfryer XL (two separate cooking units), utensils, fondue pot, blender, a Keurig Duo for K cups OR drip, tea kettle (for that all important hot cocoa), toaster, and microwave (new Summer 2022), all of which are available for your use. brbrEnjoy access to the Northstar recreation center ($10/guest). Enjoy the sauna, hot tubs, lap pool (year round), pool (Summer), exercise room, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball courts (Summer and outdoors of course), and game room. After you take a short rest from skiing, head down to the village and try your hand at ice skating or have a warm drink while spending time with old friends, or making new ones around the fire pits. If you just cant get away from work, feel free to use our free internet. There are also some DVDs, Netflix, Roku, board games, and a few books, if you want to spend some time inside, or the weather did not turn out as you wanted. brbrFor longer stays (or mishaps) there is a full size washer and dryer on the same level as the unit. There is no charge for the use of the washer and dryer and we normally leave a little soap in the closet (unless someone takes it). brbrThere is a small bin with some kids snow boots, kids gloves, snow toys (Arctic Shields, snow ball makers, snow ball throwers, kids ski helmets) that folks are welcome to use, as long as the guests take care of them! brbrThis is a non-smoking unit - no smoking of any type.
