The Northstar Village has excellent restaurants, shopping, ice skating in the winter, roller skating in the summer, a two theater cinema showing newly released films and live music. brbrOur remodeled (bathrooms, kitchen, fireplace) 2 bedroom, 1.5 BA is the perfect spot for you and your family and friends to enjoy a wonderful stay in Tahoe. The back of the unit faces open space trails and forest. This open space has an extensive trail system for hiking and mountain biking during the summer. Skiing is so easy since you have free door to door shuttle service to Northstar Ski Resort. There is a great room next to the kitchen and dining room and a downstairs family room. The Martis Landing Escape is ideal for a gathering of friends and family with soaring cathedral ceilings throughout, 2 wood burning fireplaces for those cold winter nights, and light streaming in through abundant windows.. Enjoy remote area on Martis Landing in Northstar plus free high speed wi-fi. The kitchen was completely gutted and remodeled in December 2016. New Thermador oven with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Belgian waffle maker, slow cooker, hand mixer, blender, toaster, and all the pots, pans and cooking utensils you could possibly need. Coffee maker will help you get just what you want in the morning: The great room has a 55 inch Smart LCD TV with DVD player. Situated on a huge private lot that backs up to 30 acres of greenbelt and close to 2 trailheads to Tompkins Memorial hiking trail. The Northstar shuttle service will pick up your group at the end of the driveway—just call and the shuttle usually arrives within minutes—and take you to the Village or recreation center for free. The rec center—available to guests for just $10 per visit—offers multiple swimming pools, a huge hot tub, a gym and, in the summer, tennis courts. The Northstar Village offers several great restaurants and bars, an ice-skating/roller-skating rink, a movie theater, Starbucks and plenty of shopping. From the house you may walk/hike down to the Village in less than 30 minutes on hiking paths and a natural stone stairway maintained by Northstar (though the path is not suitable for the frail or elderly nor when snow is on the ground).

The Christensen house is 3 bedrooms + loft, 3.5 baths, a game room, sleeps 6. This unit is located on the south side of Donner Lake with your own private pier. You can park 1 car in front of the garage (the other spot is for the owner apartment off of the garage), and in the summer one car down in front of the house. From the parking area at the house there are 5 steps to the main level. There you enter into the mud room you will find a office on the right with a private fireplace, and the living room on the left. Next to the stairs is a .5 bath for use for the main living area. The living room, kitchen, and dining area with a high open beam ceiling, hardwood floors, and fireplace make one big great room. In the living room is sliding glass doors that lead out to the over-sized back deck which leads down to the private dock. From the deck it is part path and steps (36) down to the lake. This dock is perfect for fishing or mooring a boat. Also on the main level is the master bedroom with private fireplace, King size bed, and private full bathroom with an additional Jacuzzi tub. From the living room is a set of stairs leading down to the fully furnished game room with ping pong table and flat screen TV. Upstairs from the living room are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and the loft. The first room has a King size bed and private bathroom. This bathroom has the toilet and shower/Tub in one room for privacy, and the vanity in the bedroom. The second bedroom has a king size bed.
