They are located by the front door, side porch entry, and under the back deck facing the south side of the cabin. These are security cameras focused on the entryways and designed to maintain privacy while enjoying our home.brbrCLEANING FEE: brThe cleaning fee covers normal turnover cleaning (e.g. bedding and laundry turn over, surfaces, floors, snow removal, etc.). Additional cleaning fees may be incurred for excessive mess.brbrWINTER SNOW SEASON: During the winter snow season, Shaver Lake can see a very large snow accumulation. AWD or 4 wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended and chains are strongly encouraged for all vehicles. We have a driveway plow service that comes every snowfall (of 6 inches or more) to clear the driveway, and a shoveling service to clear pathways prior to your arrival. Please note that snowfall can continue to accumulate between shoveling service and your arrival. Shoveling service is not provided mid-stay, however we do provide shovels for your use if necessary. If heavy snowfall happens during your stay and additional shoveling help is necessary, please give us a call and we may be able to arrange some assistance for an extra fee. Due to heavy snow accumulation in the area, the decks may not be completely cleared and only pathway access is maintained. Please be patient as the snow removal services work to clear both county roads and driveways. Please keep an eye out for the driveway plow to move vehicles to allow for full driveway clearing. There is one bedroom downstairs and two beds in the double loft area upstairs. **Please note...adults will have to bend down when walking around upstairs, as this is a true loft. On one side, a full bed can easily accommodate adults if you adventurous and don’t mind climbing a ladder, but the space is best suited for the kids. Across the way to the other side of the loft, you'll find a queen bed, custom built by the cabin owner, and a TV and toys. It's going to be hard to get the kids to come down, but you won't mind if you're enjoying a glass of wine on the deck! While most adults can easily sleep here, some guests have said it is hard for larger people to maneuver, and would be best for older kids or teens. The ladder up to the loft will be tricky or dangerous for most children under 5. There is a split system for heat and AC in the loft only.brbrA fully equipped kitchen provides a user-friendly space to cook a meal. A washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for soggy ski clothes.
