This large, loft-style bedroom now features two full-size beds and a full-size sleeper sofa, making it ideal for kids, teens, or additional guests. With its own Smart TV and a collection of games, this space is perfect for fun and relaxation. A second full bathroom is also located upstairs for added convenience. brbrOutdoor Living: Outdoor Living: Step outside onto the spacious deck, where the beauty of the forest surrounds you. Whether you’re dining al fresco or simply soaking in the view, the deck is a peaceful retreat in itself.brbrGoogle and Apple Maps may not take you the right direction to the cabin.brbrHead East on Hwy 168 until you reach Shaver Lake, then make a right turn on Bretz Mill Rd. Head down Bretz Mill Rd for about a mile, then make a right turn onto Black Oak Way (into Sierra Cedars). Stay on Black Oak Way and the driveway to the cabin will be on the right side of the road. The driveway can sneak up on you, but you are able to see the house up on the hill as you are getting close to it.brbrParking: 4 vehicles can comfortably park at this property during summer months. 2-3 vehicles can comfortably park during winter. Please note that this driveway is steep and guests may be required to have 4x4 or tire chains on their vehicle to access the property during snowy months. brbrAccess: A smartlock is on the front door to ensure a smooth and easy check-in process. Guests will receive access codes and other check-in information prior to their arrival. brbrAC: This house has 3 mini split systems that provide air conditioning. One is located downstairs in the kitchen, one in the queen downstairs bedroom, and one in the upstairs bedroom. brbrHeating: This house provides central heating as well as a wood burning fireplace. Please understand that heat rises, so upstairs will always stay warmer than downstairs. brbrTrash: If guests are staying at the property on Sunday nights, please note that our handyman will stop by the property early Monday morning to roll the trash cans down to the street.brbrOutdoor Furniture: During winter months, the outdoor furniture and BBQ will be put away as the weight of the snow can damage the furniture. However, the main refrigerator works great :)brbrIMPORTANT: When entering the cabin, you may notice a light odor near the entryway. A licensed contractor has inspected and confirmed the home is completely safe. The smell comes from the way the original wooden beams were treated many years ago, which was a common method in cabin construction back in the day. It’s only noticeable in the entryway area (because of the low ceilings) and not in the main living spaces. We wanted to mention this just in case you may be sensitive to smells. This may not be the accommodation for you.
