Maybe take in a beautiful hike on Santa Ysabel West or Three Sisters Falls. Or visit one of the incredible wineries close by. brbrFinish the evening with a glass of wine as you soak in the hot tub overlooking the breathtaking scenery and enjoy all the incredible birds visiting the feeders and bath. Top that off with a hot outdoor shower. Incredible sunrise and sunset views. Add in the lake views between the oaks and you might think you are in heaven. There are no city lights to dim the stars. Roast marshmallows around the fire pit, enjoy your meals outside at the large iron table and comfy chairs. Depending on the time of year you might wake up to deer and turkeys staring in the window. The location is amazing, the home is cozy and well decorated. You can tell the moment you arrive that this is a special place. The birds in the yard, the scenery, the absolute quiet and the stars at night! It is well equipped for cooking meals and really, everything you need is there except your own things! So much attention to detail and making sure you will feel comfortable. I stayed so I could explore the area and visit Julian. A good spot to do that from.brbrWe had the most amazing time at this beautiful home! I knew from the photos that this place would be nice but it was even better in person which is hard to believe! The hosts have gone above and beyond to make you feel at home, to have all those extra nice touches. We love sitting by the fire pit in the backyard and waking up and eating breakfast on the back patio. The views are spectacular. One of my favorite homes we’ve stayed at to date! The whole house is very stylish and the views from every room can't be beat! Between watching the birds and wildlife and sitting in the hot tub at night, we wouldn't have even needed to go anywhere else. With the close proximity to San Diego as well as the reasonable road trip distance to Joshua Tree, this is the perfect location. I would recommend this property to anyone. The Casita has one private bedroom with a king bed and a cozy upstairs loft with a full bed located in a second room. Casita sits on top of a hill with the main house.brbrThe spacebrThe Casita includes Wifi, Netflix, board games, a Keurig and access to the pool and lounge chairs/towels. Please note that the pool is NOT HEATED and TOO COLD (below 63 degrees) for most guests from November through April.brbrIdeally the Casita is setup for 1-4 guests but if guests making the reservation are okay with having some people in their party sleep on either the comfy sectional or foldable mattress, upon request, and you don't mind that there are only 4 dining chairs in the kitchen, we are happy to accommodate up to 6 people with an additional nightly fee. There is a second tiny room with a bed (full size) off of the living room area upstairs that can sleep 2 additional guests.
