Be very careful when choosing a slopeside condo. Many listings state they are a short walk (or they`re `steps away`) to the lodge. brbr** NOTE: Canyon is NOT open all season. It`s usually open from mid-Dec to mid-Apr. brbr** Canyon is UP on a mountain - thus it is UPHILL from most condos. There are hardly any sidewalks in Mammoth. Hauling yourself (especially with kids) uphill, along with your gear up an icy street or through snow-covered paths can be challenging. For some folks this is fine, for others, this can make the experience less enjoyable, especially after or during a snowstorm. When you exit my property - you`re only about 20 steps to the Canyon Lodge parking lot. brbrFree Garage Parking - great when Mammoth dumps snow! See parking note in `other details.`brbrThis is NOT a hotel room; most rooms are close to perfect. This home is NOT perfect, but it is clean, cute & cozy.
