Modern Townhome on Sierra Star Golf Course! Private Hot Tub!

We are a family of 6 adults and one baby, coming from all over the country. The separation by floors of bedrooms and bathrooms helped keep noise down. Hot tub was a gem! We had some minor problems, such as the top floor shower draining slowly and probably needing to be snaked, and wifi becoming intermittent at best by the end of the week. Those problems can and should be fixed. But in general, it was a great place. We saw 2 different bears wandering around outside our balcony, which the baby loved! There were plenty of pots/pans/dishes/silverware to eat meals in. Having dishwasher and washer/dryer was crucial and they were used every day. Garage and private driveway were also a big help for our 2 cars. It was too far to walk to a ski lift or shuttle bus stop with skis, so we drove every day. Parking is free on the access roads to the ski lifts, so we parked there and walked. You can pay to park closer, but we didn't. This was a great find!

We rented this property for a fun, relaxing weekend of skiing. The property was described perfectly and was a very short drive to the Canyon Lodge gondola. The neighborhood roads were slick after overnight snow fall, but easy to drive with AWD. We definitely recommend this property to other visitors. Thanks!

The ONLY reason we chose this property was because they had a private hot tub, kind of a hard thing to find in Mammoth. We've occasionally had issues in the past where we showed up and the tub was cold, so I reached out to the management company, Natural Retreats, earlier in the day before we arrived, to check with them and ensure it was hot and ready to go, no response. We pulled in at 11:30 PM, it had been a long day on the road and we were ready to relax for the night, go to check the hot tub and to our surprise/ frustration it was completely empty, covered with dirt , and didn't look like it had been used in a long, long time. We tried contacing the MGMT co, a 3rd party afterhours co, VRBO, and looking for other places until 2 AM with no luck. Next day made repeated calls and left a message with the MGMT co. Again, no response. The next day we were about to leave when we open our garage door and find a car completely blocking the driveway, we were stuck in this crap hole. After knocking on neighbors doors and calling a towing company, to no avail, we reached out to the MGMT co one more time, and they actually answered! We told them we were blocked in, told them about the isssues with the tub, etc and that we wanted a refund. They said they'd get a tow truck out there and that there was work being done on the house. (The uncompleted work consisted of no doorbell with bare wires sticking out, electrical outlets on the deck hanging out of their socket, uninstalled light fixture on the deck, hot tub decommisssioned, and many light switches not seeimg to work.) While waiting for the tow truck we started scouring the neighborhood and found construction workers a few blocks away that the car belonged to who moved it. We let the MGMT co know we got it moved, said we'd discuss the issues with the house and refund the next day when we got home, and left. Since then we've tried to call Natural retreats approximately 10 more times with no response. We are now having to escalate to our credit card company since Natural Retreats apparently has no desire to resolve the issue and contacting VRBO just gets us transfered to multiple people asking the same questions, and then hanging up on you after being put on hold for awhile. If you're interested in staying here because you want a hot tub or plan to reach out to the management company for any reason save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

The property was very clean and well furnished. They had some spices and a full kitchen so we could prepare whatever we needed. The open kitchen/living room was nice for everyone to gather and be hanging out together.
