There is also a rental shop in the hotel for your convenience and lockers downstairs you can use. brIf you love the snow but aren’t big on skiing or snowboarding, you can go on a scenic ride on the gondola that leaves across from the main lodge. It will take you up on two separate trips, stopping halfway up the mountain where you can take a picture with the famous post and walk up to see a memorial and then hop on the second one to the top. We like to stop for a drink in the café before heading back down. And best of all, if you are a scenic ride ticket holder, you get to go in a special line so you’re not stuck behind all the other skiers and boarders!brNot crazy about the snow Monache has an awesome fitness center with a shower so you don’t even have to trek back to your unit to shower if you don’t want to.
