You will need quarters and mammoth is in shortage, if you are planning to do laundry, we recommend you bring quarters with you.brbrTHE CONDO.brThis is a 1st floor corner unit condominium, open layout with a full size renovated kitchen and kitchen bar overlooking the living room for entertaining, large living with a queen pullout sofa bed, and a 4-seats dining table next to the kitchen. The bedroom is the corner of the building with two large windows for natural morning lights and black out curtains for when you want to sleep in. Being a corner unit, you may hear people walking around the corner or up to the second floor. That said, we haven’t found it bothersome at all, but if you feel this will affect you, please do not book this condo.brUnit has a full high chair that can be converted into a toddler chair/table or booster for a small child, and a Pack and Play in the closet. We do not provide bed sheets for the Pack and Play. If any specific needs, please inquire!brbrPOOL, SPA and rec roombrPool (seasonal), Spa and Sauna may occasionally be under maintenance. Other closures might be mandated by Mono county because of COVID. Currently the seasonal pool is closed for winter!!!brbrLOST ITEMSbrAny items that are left in the unit will be disposed by the cleaning crew after you check out. For any lost item you want us to hold on, management is asking a $40 fee plus any shipping costs associated if you cannot come back. Nestled in the quiet forest setting is the Bigwood community, this 1 bedroom + loft, 2 bath mountain retreat offers an upgraded spacious layout with all the amenities you will need. Close to the Sierra Star golf course, a short ride or walk to Mammoth Mountain’s Eagle Lodge, the location is close and convenient for access, but quiet and removed from the thoroughfare of town. The condo is on the third story so you can enjoy natural light, and forest views, and offers a two story floorplan. On the main entry level is the living room with 50” Smart TV with large sectional with a sleeper sofa, and a pellet stove to efficiently heat the condo while providing that cozy setting. A nook where you can enjoy your morning coffee, or some afternoon reading, or play one of the many family games the home is stocked with. The private deck leads off from the dining area with outdoor patio furniture. The full kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything to prepare family meals, a Keurig coffee maker, with seating for 6 in the dining space. An additional office desk space allows you to work or school remotely. On the main floor is the primary suite featuring a King bed, TV with access to a full bathroom in the hall with a tiled tub/shower combo. On the upper level is the open plan loft, perfect for the kiddos or additional guests. It features three Full beds, a TV, closet, and a full bathroom with tiled walk-in shower. There is also private laundry upstairs with a stacked washer and dryer, providing all the comforts of home. The condo has an assigned detached shared garage parking for one car (garage clearance is 6’ 6”). The Bigwood community has excellent amenities including a year-round outdoor large Jacuzzi, community BBQ, outdoor heated pool (summer months only), Sauna and laundry room. Bigwood is located1 mile to Eagle Lodge, 1.5 Miles to Canyon Lodge, 5 miles from Main Lodge and conveniently located close to the Yellow shuttle, perfect for getting around town! This non-smoking unit sleeps a maximum of 6 and is not pet friendly. Ft.) luxurious, warm home to land in for your vacation get-away. Start with underground parking that includes ski locker and bike storage. You enter on ground level with an entry area to store extra skis/clubs/fishing rods. The entry leads up a staircase to the main level including kitchen (upgraded appliances & granite counters), dining area (seats 9 including bar), living room complete with flat screen TV/DVD & outside deck overlooking the golf course. There are beds for 6. Off the main living area is 2 bedrooms: Queen bed in one (plus your own TV) and combo double-single bunk in other. Up anther flight of stairs to the master bedroom (king bed with your own TV) that takes up the entire 3rd floor.....with a master bath that includes both shower & bath, you'll have to flip for the room if you travel with another couple(s)! There is also a queen sleeper-couch in the living room. Between the units and the fairway is the Common area that includes both pool (summer) and jacuzzi (year round). You are surrounded by trees which gives you the openness and feel of the beautiful Sherwin mountains. We are located on the Sierra Star golf course (3rd Fairway) with the Clubhouse within walking distance. We are just 300 yards away from Chair 15 & Eagle Lodge. Winter skiing should go thru May/June this year and Mammoth Mountain says they could stay open until the 4th of July with their record breaking snow in 2024! If skiing, fishing, hiking, biking or just enjoying the serenity of the Sierras is your thing, you can't beat this place!
