Was cool but there was random underwear in the bathroom and the toilet had poop stains on it when we arrived. Can’t imagine what else didn’t get cleaned

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfy couch and beds; adequately stocked kitchen; plenty of firewood; everything was clean; plenty of towels; lots of hot water. Bring your own kindling and hatchet for building a fire. The stove will heat the main area and upstairs loft (too hot up there!), but the basement rooms will stay cold. Bring extra blankets for downstairs. And slippers as the bathroom tile floors are COLD! Bathrooms were all recently remodeled—new tile, large shower head, glass doors. The hot tubs are nearby! Bring your own beach towels if you don’t want to use bath towels. Multiple light bulbs were out, the kitchen sink cupboard was askew, and one of the sliding basement doors doesn’t close with a tight seal. Ask the host for internet info, as there is none in the welcome papers. At least one kitchen chair is in rough condition. Stove lights were glitchy, but the stove and oven still worked well. There’s a draft from the front door, so bring an old blanket or towel to block that cold breeze. Overall it was a great place to stay for the price for a ski weekend. Safe neighborhood, helpful neighbors.

Very clean, what a great stay for the family and I in an awesome location

The place was a great location for all of the trails and shops in Mammoth Lakes and close to Yosemite. The check in was a bit clunky as we showed up at 4:45 and although the office was suppose to be until 5pm, it was closed. We were able to use the lock box, but the wrong name was listed on the envelope. It all worked out, but was a different experience than expected. Cleanliness was OK, but the dishwasher was full and coffee grounds were in the coffee pot from prior tenant. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The only downside was that it was warm and the temp in the place would never go lower than 75 degrees. The loft area would be 80 by night so that was a bit uncomfortable as the week heated up. All in all, the place was great and was a good base for our family fun.

The wood-burning stove was good for making some-mores. The location is quiet and close to parking and the pool.There were some peculiarities, however. There were fans in the bathrooms, but they seemed to be connected to the heaters. As the temperature at times was in the 80's, pure exhaust fans would have been better. The bathroom window in the master bath was sealed; in other condos of the same plan it can be opened for ventilation. There were some minor electronic glitches with the stove and the dishwasher, but they still worked. The management sent someone over to check it out right away. The most surprising item was a ventilation system that takes warm air from the loft area and feeds it into the lower bedrooms with a somewhat loud whooshing noise. (The pipes can be seen in the condo photos.) It was found that keeping the upper levels cool by leaving the sliding doors open could eliminate this automatic function. It would have been good to have been able to turn this off, especially since this occurred during warm weather. Possibly there is a way, but we did not discover it.Overall, though, the condo was comfy enough for 4 adults and 2 teens and we enjoyed the stay.

Reviewer Comments: Dont plan on preparing meals inhouse because there are limited cookware and what is there is terrible. Towels are hand me downs from a 1980's motel. This place could be good if some cared enough to spend a little time and money. The condition its in is not worth the price. not even close.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The floorplan is great for a group/family and Sierra Park has a great jacuzzi and access to the bus up to the village. My gripe is with the worn out kitchenware and the poor lighting in the living room and loft. Broken lamps and burnt out light bulbs made for a frustrating arrival in the dark. I made comments to the managemnet and although they responded quickly, they did not offer a solution.

We have been very happy with these condos as well as the service from Melody at the agency. We will continue to utilize this service and enjoy our experiences at Mammoth.
