Most resorts heat pools into the low 80's we allow guests that pay for pool heat to heat pool to the mid-80's and spas as high as they like. Please keep in mind, mid-winter, larger pools will have a hard time even reaching mid-80's, pool temperature is not guaranteed, however, generally low to mid 80's is common, even mid-winter.brbrWe work with the top 3 pool cleaners in the desert, despite that, the desert can have high winds that can turn a perfectly clean pool into a dirty pool in 10 minutes or less. Please report and we will send a pool cleaner as soon as possible. We also try to keep pool skimmers on site at all of our homes. There is the possibility of boatman bugs in the desert, they are completely harmless but can fall from the sky, generally there's a chance for them in August and September, while they can be killed and removed when they are falling from the sky, they will return minutes after treating. There can be sand storms in the desert. It heats up about 3 degrees per hour and it can get down into the 60's during the winter so if you want it heated upon your arrival please keep that in mind and notify us. Due to the rising cost of natural gas we do charge a fee to heat the pool of $80/day. If you would like the pool heated to 83 degrees please let us know via text or phone call and we will initiate it remotely. In addition, PGA West Community pools are heated to 80 degrees and can be used by guests as well.
