This completely renovated family friendly house is our home when we are not traveling and we’d love to share it with you to enjoy the California lifestyle.brbrWe are a 4 minute (1.6 miles) drive to the beach and under a 10 min drive to Carlsbad Village, Legoland, mall, many grocery stores, train station, and I-5. We are also conveniently located 25 min to Sea World, 35 min to the San Diego Zoo, and about an hour drive to Disneyland. No smoking or pets.brbrThe spacebrThe house has 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms on the first floor and a large bedroom/office with private bathroom on the second floor that leads to a 400 sq ft roof deck with ocean & sunset views. The “kids wing has a full bathroom with double sink and 2 bedrooms: one with a twin over full bunk bed and the other with toddler bed that converts to a crib. The primary bedroom on the first floor has it’s own bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and soaking tub.brThe main floor is an open floor plan with a library (2 couches, kids books, and ocean views), and the living room has a 12' large leather couch and 65 smart TV for the whole family to enjoy movie nights. The kitchen has a chef's range with hood, stainless steel appliances, and a large island that seats six. Off the kitchen is a washer/dryer and an extra fridge. The horizontal sliding window above the kitchen sink opens completely to the back deck to create a great indoor/outdoor feel. The dining room table expands to seat six and leads to the back deck.brbrThe second floor office has an adjustable treadmill desk with ocean views, a full bathroom, queen size bed, and a couch great for mid-afternoon naps. A large roof deck is accessed through the office. The roof deck has a couch and chairs with cushions to enjoy expansive ocean views and sunsets.brbrThe back of the house has a private deck with a grill and outdoor table with umbrella, large fully-gated backyard with kids playground, smokeless firepit and an orange and lemon tree for you to enjoy. There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower on the side of the house to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach.brbrThere is parking in the driveway for 2 cars.brbrGuest accessbrThe garage, top room and a few locked closets are for our personal storage. Otherwise, guests will have the entire house including access to washer/dryer, kitchen amenities, and outdoor hot/cold shower.brbrOther things to notebrThere is an adjacent guest suite on the other side of the garage that is not included.
