We were abrparty of 5 adults, and there was plenty of room to spread out. Open floorbrplan on the main floor, so the chef was never isolated. The owners hadbreverything ready for us, we had easy access, and the owner family clearlybrcares about every detail in the home. It is very well-appointed, close tobreverything, and the view is more spectacular than the photos. It's anbreasy, short walk to the beach. As someone else mentioned, there's a littlebrbit of a drop-off (only a few feet) down from the trail to the sand, butbrthere's a post there to help you, and we easily carried folding chairs downbrto the water. We'd never seen so many sand dollars (early morning tide),brand when we were there, the by-the-wind sailors were washing ashore (the dobrnot sting people). In town, don't miss the aquarium -- they takebrreservations, so call them. The fudge at Granny Hazel's is crazy good. Ibrdon't think you can go wrong with a fishing charter in the area; we fishedbrwith/caught our limit with Westport Charters (aboard the Predator withbrCaptain Derek and Mate Dylan). The Westport Winery is a little bit of abrdrive, but worth a visit, too; they have great wine and extensive gardens.brBe sure to grab breakfast at the Blue Buoy (seriously, don't miss it), andbrdon't miss Blackbeard's Brewing Company, if you're so inclined.
