Book 4 cabinsbrUp to 32 peoplebrEach cabin has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms with Exclusive and Private Access to the amazing Nueces Riverbr-The Riv Resort is approximately 45 mins from Concan. 30 mins from the Frio River. 5 mins south of Camp Wood, and sits on an exclusive section of the Nueces River. brbrCome stay at The Riv Resort for a unique vacation experience as you take in the serenity and beauty of Texas!brbrAnswers to frequently asked questions:br-The Riv is located 5 minutes south of Camp Wood, Texas.br-Cabins were refurbished April of this year.br-Sleeping arrangements:br3 bedrooms (room 1: king bed, room 2: king bed, room 3: two twin beds)brLiving room (one daybed and a trundle)br-The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware (there is not a dish washing machine). br-Refrigerator and freezer (there is not an ice maker)br-Each cabin has a propane bbq and a wood bbq on the patio.br-Must be 21 years old to reserve and an adult must be present during the rental period. br-Maximum of 8 tenants per cabin.br-Only tenants of The Riv cabins are allowed on the property and have access to the river.br-Fire pits are on site. Firewood can be purchased from us as you request it. br-The cabins are only about 200 yards from the river.br-You can rent kayaks, paddle boards , and tubes from us, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since we have limited amounts.br-You can reserve one of our three riverfront pavilions for your own private and shaded area on the river, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since there are only three. When reserving, you can specify which pavilion you want, or one will be assigned. brbr-River access is a short walk, about 200 yards, from the cabins.br-There is a loading and unloading section for kayaks, paddle boards, and tubes. br-River access is for the tenants of each cabin only.br-We have a large field next to the basketball and pickleball courts for you to enjoy.brbrIt is recommended to bring your own beach towels and snorkeling equipment since the water is so clear!

Tiny casita in beautiful Uvalde, 20 minutes from Frio River

This little casita is located in the beautiful town of Uvalde Texas. Lots of eats near by and unique downtown shops. br So. I’m gonna be really honest here.. We bought our home with this little casita in the back yard in July of 2021. We did a fixer upper on the inside of the main house where we currently live. We have done some work in the backyard but it’s definitely not finished and still rough around the edges. We gave the casita a fresh coat of paint inside and replaced the bathroom floor. We do not have television. We DO have WiFi. We have many dreams for both the backyard and casita but at this point do not have the funds to continue.. we will update as we can! br We have a friendly golden retriever (Paz) that will probably be around during your stay but she sleeps inside our house at night. You will also see our kitty (Zeus) during your stay as well. You will have access to a fire pit and a bbq wood grill.br The casita is clean and neat but nothing fancy. The “kitchen” has a two burner stove, a mini fridge and a sink. A queen sized bed and a small bathroom. You can park in our driveway and enter the casita through the gate into the back yard. br My husband is self employed at ARP automotive and I am a stay at home mom to our baby girl.. We will keep to ourselves as much as possible.. We would love to host you!

The Bunkhouse has a welcoming cozy feel and was designed to accommodate our two kids and our 7 grandkids. Both bedrooms have a full bath, are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The covered deck is large and accommodating with ample seating, a well-equipped kitchen area, and a breakfast table. The yard space is shaded most of the year with our pecan trees. There is also a charcoal BBQ pit, two picnic tables, and a firepit. As you can see in the pics, we built the Bunkhouse onto our barn. We still have a few miniature horses around, a few dwarf goats(we drink the milk!) and some random chickens, dogs, and cats. They won't bother you, but are available to see if you would like the tour.brSwimming the full one mile of our river is a unique adventure. We have the Blue Hole, the Emerald Pot, the Slip & Slide, and let's not forget the Katfish Kitchens. We will have a map to guide you along the river!brThe Bunkhouse area is entirely yours, with plenty of parking area for your vehicle(s). If interested in seeing or participating, we still have some goats and chickens around the barn that need daily attention from us. Our house is nearby, but we are available if needed. Access to the river amounts to one full mile of both sides of our river(the Dry Frio). You will be able to walk up or down the river, look for fossils, or hang out at one of our favorite swimming spots. Bring your floats, lots of guests use their pop-ups and make a home base where they are hanging out.brWe are very remote! It is 35 miles to Uvalde, the closest grocery store. Be sure and bring the food you want to eat and any other supplies you want on your stay here. Fill up your gas tank in your vehicle before you arrive. It is 18 miles to Concan, the closest convenience store. Leakey and Uvalde are both about 35 miles from the Bunkhouse!brbrPets are allowed with prior approval and EACH pet will require a $50 pet fee.{1 pet-$50 pet fee, 2 pets-$100 pet fee, 3 pets-$150 pet fee.) Pets must be housebroken and well behaved. Pets are not allowed to roam freely out of the owner's sight. brWe do have a large carrier that we keep on the porch for your pets (and your) enjoyment.brbrWe will make driving instructions and access information available a week before your arrival. GPS instructions seem to work if you plug in our address, but just in case, we will send instructions via email.
