Modern Cabin with Hill Country Views

Beautiful home and very appealing. Feels so comfortable you don't want to leave. Loved the wildlife so near. Will definitely want to go back someday.

Cabin was rustic and clean. Great vibes. Had lots of books and games, plus corn to feed the deer. Was such a treat be be greeted by sometimes 10 or more deer on the property. Extremely scenic with plenty to see just walking around the area.

This is our second time staying in this beautiful hidden gem! The cabin is well equipped with everything you'll need and it's well kept. Our boys absolutely love the walkway to the fire pit area! We can't wait to go back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Although we planned to spend Labor Day floating the river, it turned out to be rainy and a little too cold to do so (very unusual for Texas at this time). However, we loved spending time in this lovely cabin. Sitting on the back porch with a glass of wine or coffee was so nice all while watching the deer, hummingbirds, butterflies, and cardinals. The cabin is well stocked, has comfortable beds, and even with the weather being rainy, we never lost the satellite tv and wifi. The cabin is in a perfect location to be remote enough but close enough (a short drive) to shops, parks, etc. The owner is extremely helpful and communicative. I would stay here again. Thank you, Zach, for your support in making our stay comfortable.

Loma Linda is so peaceful, yet within a 30 minute drive to the reasons we wanted to stay in the area (Garner state park and the Frio bat cave). It was also the best equipped and most organized home we've ever stayed in. We would highly recommend it to anyone!

Excellent place to stay for a visit to Garner State Park

If you’re looking to get away and really disconnect, this is it! The cabin was exactly as the pictures showed. Super cute! It felt private and secluded. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch, especially when the rain came in. Our kids loved the fire pit and the upstairs room. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed from hygiene to cooking. The owners checked in with us before and after the trip. We felt very welcome in their cabin. A couple of things I would note: Make sure you have the directions and door code saved as there isn’t any cell service. The owners do have WiFi once you’re able to connect to their network. If you drive in at night, the river is not deep! But I wouldn’t drive a small car to the cabin, because it’s a bumpy ride once your on the ranch. Overall we really enjoyed our trip. Such a fun, peaceful getaway!

We have been staying in the Lost Maples and Garner State Park area for ten years and this place was one of the best places we have stayed. It has access to water which is awesome and the house was perfect. The outside patio was great. We loved eating breakfast there in the morning and watching the birds come eat. It has a place to grill as well as an amazing fire pit. The owners leave some little things that one might forget and although we didn’t need it, it is a nice touch. There were some games for our little girl that she got to enjoy. We will most definitely be back to this little bit of paradise!
