You can walk to Jamail Bay Park to fish from the pier or drop your kayaks in the water!brbrWe are only 2 miles from Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens, and only 1 mile from the beach!brbrThe back and front yard are fenced, and there is quite a bit of space in the back yard for kids or animals to play and get some exercise. Just please pick up after them. brbrWe have a large 2 car garage that you can park a vehicle in on the right side - the left side is not for parking. If you need more space there is a large 12 x 20 deck right outside with ample seating. As an added bonus there will be a golf cart available for your use if booked ahead. The primary is at the rear of the house, has an inviting king sized bed, reading lamps so each can have their own lighting for late night reading; and an en suite bath with a gorgeous stand up shower. The middle bedroom has a queen sized bed and each night stand has out lets for your devices, both USB and standard plugs. The front bedroom has two twin beds and room to store each of these two's belongings. brbrThere is a smart TV in the living room and it's the only TV in the home - though there is WiFi throughout so each person can watch what they want on your own devices. Between the twin and queen bedrooms is another full bath, 4 piece - tub/shower combo in this one.brbrMy Galveston Getaway rents to responsible adults 25 years of age or older. Upon booking you will receive a digital renters agreement that we will need to get back from you (digitally, of course) listing each person and the age of each person who will be joining you on the trip and agreeing to our rules. It's pretty straightforward, just dotting the i's and crossing all the t's and letting you know what comes next. brbrWe will send by personal email from us to you the check in information about 72 hours prior to your arrival and about 24 hours later we will call to be sure you received it, verify the code we've provided for access to the property, and answer any last-minute questions you may have. Our check in time is 4:00 p.m. and our check out time is 11:00 a.m. Many times due to the popularity of the island and this property, we will not be able to offer early check in or late check out as we need sufficient time between guests for our housekeeping contractor to ensure everything is ready for each of our guests.brbrSome of the properties we manage, this one included, are dog friendly (but dogs only!) We have a 2-dog maximum, combined maximum weight of 100 pounds and we will ask you to send us a picture of the dog. Once dogs are approved there is a $75.00 per dog fee which is per stay, not per day. We do ask that no animals be permitted on the furniture and be kenneled when their humans are not at home with them. We also recommend traveling with your four legged family members, have their vaccine records with you just in case emergency services are needed while you are here. We also suggest checking with the City of Galveston to ensure you are following leash laws, animal accessible beaches, etc. There are several restaurants that have outdoor seating that welcome your dog(s) to join you as well.brbrThis home has a 2 car garage accessed through the alley. Each of the 2 individual stalls will accommodate a small car - but not a truck or a larger SUV. There is also on-street parking and a permit is required. There are 2 permits in the home. The City charges us $500 to replace these so please be sure that you have left these behind for us to offer to future guests. If they are not in the home when you depart we will contact you as soon as we are aware and we need them returned immediately to our office so we can provide them for future guests. We really don't want to have to charge a guest for the replacements, but every guest needs to have access to the parking permits and the City will only issue 2 per property. The driveway nearest this home DOES NOT belong to this home, but to a neighbor who calls Galveston their permanent residence. Please DO NOT park here, even for unloading purposes. You are staying right on the Gulf of Mexico with views from the second floor. brbrTHE RESORT -Martinis & Bikinis condo is located on the west end of Seawall Blvd. across from the beach in the highly popular Maravilla Condos. This quiet complex is known for the beautiful tropical grounds featuring 3 pools, a hot tub and exercise room with a beach view. There is a very large resort pool with an island in the middle, a smaller lagoon pool with a beach entry and across the drive is a medium size pool heated in the winter. There are also charcoal grills by all the pools(bring your charcoal). Between the resort and lagoon pool is a nice gazebo accessible to all guests to enjoy some shade as you eat or drink at the bar with bar stools. You will have easy access to your choice of activities. brbr***As you enter the complex, you might notice a small construction project at the verybrfront. You might hear some noise during the day from 8 to 5. All construction and noise from construction stops at 5:00pm.brbr***POOLS: The large main pool, hot tub and beach entry pool are OPEN and have been renovated. The east heated pool is being renovated and a 12 man hot tub and splash pad added beginning mid-August and should be completed by mid-December 2025! We are excited to have all of this ready for guests this winter! This renovation project is no where near this condo. brbrbrThis condo is located close to EVERYTHING fun in Galveston. Just step across Seawall Blvd is the ocean & wide beaches are about a mile in either direction. Moody Gardens is just behind us within a short drive. Within walking distance is Jimmy's on the Pier for dining (upstairs...over the ocean & recommended) or fishing. You can also walk to the Go Cart tracks and the movie theater and Miniature Golf. There is a handy guide in the condo with all of our favorite restaurants and things to do. At the complex, there is ample covered & uncovered parking for a $10 fee per car per day. A dvd player is also provided. brbrThe kitchen offers stylish full size appliances, a dishwasher, stove, built-in microwave, granite counters and an elegant tile backsplash.
