BEDROOMS
TheDavidson-Penland House generously offers a king bed in each of its 3 bedrooms. Nestle yourself into a spacious bed and drift off to a restorative night’s sleep! Each bedroom includes a SmartTV, closet, and a dresser.

BATHROOM

This lovely historic home boast 2 full bathrooms. The primary en-suite bathroom is nicely updated with a luxurious double shower and soaker tub. The other full bathroom includes a shower + tub combination, which is particularly convenient for families with small children. Enjoy steady hot water and great water pressure. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion are provided.

KITCHEN

A sizable island + multiple counters make this kitchen the perfect space for groups that like to cook together. Fully equipped with glasses, mugs, plates, bowls & silverware for 6. Coffee/Tea Bar includes drip coffee maker, Keurig, and electric kettle. Blender, toaster, and microwave included. Gas stovetop range + oven. Pots/pans, baking sheet, oil, salt & pepper.

    The house was an excellent property for our mini vacation. Suggestions for improvements would be 1) a shelf, table or cabinet for toiletries in the small common shared hall bathroom 2) sealing the glass in the front door and 3) review the cost of cleaning.

    This was our first family trip to Galveston and we had a lovely stay at the Davidson-Penland house! The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed being within walking distance of a dog-friendly park and Porretto Beach. We’ll definitely recommend the house to our friends and family!

    If you love historic Galveston but also want all the modern conveniences, this is the perfect place to stay. Quiet home with excellent air conditioning, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, smart TVs in everyroom, extra large master bathroom. Charming neighborhood of Victorian homes. We have visited this home twice and highly recommend it.

    Loved this historical property with modern, updated interior. Beautiful home - inside and out. Comfortable accommodations, spacious bedrooms, and fenced backyard perfect for our dog. We're already missing having our morning coffee on the front porch! Hosts thought of everything e.g. coffee & tea supplies, laundry pods for the washer. Check in & out was so easy. Truly a great stay. We'd love to come back!!!
