MODERN GALVESTON BEACH HOUSE

Perfect for our one night stay. Just about everything we needed was already in the house plus some nice extra additions.

Clean, conformable location. The ower provided exceptional communication.

The house was perfect for me and my family of 9 for our small getaway! Beds for everyone and very comfy. Very clean throughout the whole house and even had toys for toddlers. My 2yr old grandson had some of his favorite toys to play with. He also enjoyed eating some fruit on the porch bench watching the rain. Host was very communitive and responsive. Definitely recommend this home.

The decor was cute ans modern. The rooms and beds were cozy. Parking in the front and back. Host was extremely nice and accommodating. Would recommend for a short or long stay. The seawall is right down the road and could walk if wanted.

Booked this house to get down the day before the cruise. House was clean and close walk to the boardwalk. Neighborhood was quiet. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Away from the busy beach traffic, in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything. The seawall boulevard and beach are a few blocks away, you could just about walk if you liked. The downtown shopping district known as The Strand is a few minutes in the opposite direction. The host was very responsive when we had questions about the alarm system or the checkout process. Inside, the three bedrooms were cozy and quaint, the kitchen is well equipped, and there are comfy couches and chairs for five adults to lounge around after cooking a big meal.

Right area for our travel the front door needs a little maintenance could be upgraded other than that clean rooms and restrooms and cozy

The family and I stayed here the night before our cruise.. i still hadn’t received check in instructions the day of so I reached out to contact host.. no reply - I sent several messages and no reply so I called the number to only leave a voice mail. At this point I’m pretty worried as we’re in route! He texts back promptly with instructions, however why did I have to worry at all! They should have been sent, even if the issue was on VRBO side the host could have reached out. The house did have plenty of space for us all, and seemed to be clean. The ac wasn’t the greatest and the house couldn’t keep up with the Texas sun.. so we turned on the fans to help.. however our bedroom fan was broken and unusable. The vents also were covered in layers of dust— also didn’t help the AC cool. The host apologized for the fan and said it was being ordered. Over all the location is great and for an overnight or weekend getaway it’s great.. dining and port is just minutes away!

This was a great place to stay for a quick trip to the beach. It had everything we needed. The bathrooms were awesome and spacious. The back deck was nice and we had plenty of beds for everybody in our group (8) to sleep. The homeowner was very flexible and easy to communicate with. Our daughter was so sad to leave, she was crying in the car. If you're looking for a place close to the seawall area, for a good price, and with space to sleep, this is a great option!

When looking for a place to stay the night we narrowed the choices to 3. Ultimately booked this property and have no regrets. The owner was very friendly and also quick to respond. Even reached out to ensure a question was resolved. We all slept very well, appreciated the WiFi speed & enjoyed the comfortable sitting room. We did not cook, but when looking for drinking glasses did see an ample supply of dishes & cooking supplies.

The house had everything we needed for a simple family summer beach vacation! The host communicated very promptly and even allowed us to stop back by after we checked out to look for a missing wallet!

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston! The house was very clean and nicely updated. The location was great. It was a quiet street and I liked that there was parking behind the house off the alley. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen seemed stocked with the essentials. The beds were very comfy. There is a nice backyard with patio seating. The host was super responsive when I had questions. We would stay here again.
