Across the street is the favorite, Bird Bird Biscuit with their famous fried chicken biscuits and Brentwood Social House is a block away with perfect coffee and drinks. Within a 2 to 5 minute drive from the house, you have Homesclice Pizza, Stiles BBQ, Bufalina, The Peached Tortilla, and Fonda San Miguel....which is quite literally a line up of Austin's best local restaurants. Also a few minutes away is The Thinkery, The Blanton, and shopping beyond your heart's content.brbrThis guesthouse is situated near a busy commercial street. There's a large privacy fence and about a block between the house and the commercial area, so it's great for a quiet and private stay but super accessible to lots of activity. There's a convenience store a half a block away for last minute drinks and snacks, a coffee shop two blocks away, and a breakfast restaurant with killer fried chicken biscuits across the street.brWe don't have many rules for this place, we just ask guests to be quiet outside after 10pm and to leave the place like you found it. Please be aware.brbr- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters, especially if they are found dead, does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else.brbr- For longer term stays over 30 days, guests are required to pay for monthly full-home cleaning services at $90/clean. This requirement cannot be waived and must be paid prior to each monthly cleaning service.brbr- Guests will be able to park for free in any of the non-covered and/or non-reserved spots around the complex, as long as you hang the parking tag we provide from inside the unit on your rearview mirror when parked. Two (2) parking tags will be provided, so all cars beyond two (2) will need to be registered with the parking vendor's portal for 24-hour guest parking and renew the registrations every 24-hours. Guests will be able to park for free on complex property in non-covered and non-reserved spots. brbr- Please be aware that the apartment is located close to a popular Austin bar that occasionally plays live music in its outdoor stage, which might result in noise leakage into the apartment whenever there are performances.brbr- A $200 security deposit is required as part of the check-in process. This deposit is held to cover any incidentals or potential damages during your stay and will be refunded after check-out, provided no issues are identified. Guests also have the option to pay a non-refundable $35 damage waiver add-on that can cover up to a specified amount of accidental damage in lieu of the security deposit. brbrbrbr-Pets ARE allowed depending on size and are subject to pet fees.
