Built in 1935, this remodeled Craftsman style home offers the best of Bozeman!brbrOllie's House is an inviting and sunlit historic home ideally located four blocks from Main street and two blocks from Cooper Park. Cooper Park is a full city block park that is dog friendly with beautiful spruce trees and picnic tables. The MSU campus is a 15-18 minute walk from the house. brbrWhen you enter the front door, the high ceilings, the sunny large windows and wood floors all lend to creating a warm space that is full of comfort and love. You are greeted by Hank, a large and fun paper mache sheep created by a local artist. The wood stove and interesting and colorful artwork makes Ollie's House an inviting home to relax in. brbrOn the main floor is the kitchen, living room, dining area, a full bathroom with tub/shower, an office area and tv/library room. The dining room table can expand to accommodate 8 people for a larger family gathering. The living room has comfortable seating and sitting chairs for relaxing and visiting or playing games. Adjacent to the living room is the library and tv room with a large sectional couch, for reading or watching a movie. brbrThe kitchen has ash countertops and all the amenities/appliances you need. Ollie's House is fully equipped with a drip style and French press coffee maker, a coffee grinder, pots/pans, cooking utensils, spices, dry goods (flour, sugar, etc) dishwasher, microwave, a blender, an ice maker, linens and basic body products/ neccesities. We also provide local info and guide books on everything from where to buy locally grown vegetables to great hiking trails and restaurant suggestions. brbrAll three bedrooms are upstairs from the main floor. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed with closet space, a floor / ceiling fan, an AC unit and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, with ample closet storage, a floor / ceiling fan and AC unit. The third bedroom is smaller with a full size bed, perfect for kids or a solo guest (or a couple if they don't mind the full size). This room has a floor / ceiling fan. The second full bathroom with tub/shower can accommodate the guests staying in the second and third bedrooms. Keep in mind that on the main floor there is also a full bathroom with tub/shower. A pack-n-play is available for your use as well. brbrUpon request, there is also an additional bedroom with a queen size bed and full bathroom in the basement of the house. Its location beside Bridger Bowl Ski Resort and Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is great whether you are on a ski vacation, enjoying a Montana wedding in the summer, or just looking for some peace, quiet and fun recreating in the beauty of the mountains. Bridger Bowl is a world-class ski area with 8 chairlifts on over 2,000 acres spanning 2,600 vertical feet. It is known for its light dry powder snow and serves first-timers all the way to experts with its trails of varying difficulty. Cross-country ski trails are available a few minutes away at the Crosscut Nordic Center. All of these same trails are open to the public for hiking and mountain biking May through November. Mountain bikes can be rented in Bozeman or at Crosscut. Many of our guests use this as a basecamp for the entire area, including Yellowstone National Park, a gorgeous 1hr 20 minute drive to the north entrance. brbrThis home was just completed, in early 2022. We have a decade of experience providing 4 other vacation rental homes in the area, with hundreds of 5 star reviews! We will take great care to provide you with a pleasant and hassle-free experience. The kitchen bar can accommodate four for breakfast or a quick snack. The main floor living room features a cozy gas fireplace and is set up for easy conversations. It includes a 65 TV with Amazon Prime and YouTubeTV for entertainment. There's a half bath accessible from this common area.brThe bedroom amenities are equally inviting. The master suite on the main floor has a king size bed. Its en suite full bathroom has a custom tiled walk-in shower and a gorgeous dual sink vanity.brbrUpstairs you will find three more bedrooms, with ample closet space and dressers for everyone. They share the upstairs full bathroom with another dual sink vanity and tiled tub/shower. The first of these bedrooms has a king size bed. The second includes two queens. And the third one has two more queens topped by two built-in twin size bunk beds, for a total of 4 beds. It's the perfect bunk room for several kids or provides another great bedroom for adults using the lower queen beds.brAll linens are high quality hotel sheets with downy soft pillows and decadent quilts to top them off. brThe upstairs has another living room area with a huge sectional couch and a fully equipped 65 TV.brbrThe home lies just steps from the Bridger Bowl base area. In the winter you can easily ski in and out. May through November the house is a great starting point for hikes or mountain biking, both here at the Bridger Bowl Resort or on the extensive trail network at the nearby Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, which adjoins this neighborhood and is literally just a minute or two away. It has well-known mountain bike trails and hiking trails.brbrIf you are coming to attend a wedding at Bridger Bowl, enjoy the ease of staying right here in our Alpenglow Chalet instead of making the drive to and from Bozeman hotels. Bridger Bowl offers two beautiful mountain facilities (The Deer Park Chalet and Jim Bridger Lodge) with catering for weddings and rehearsal dinners from June through September.brbrThe drive to Bozeman is an easy 15-20 minutes on paved state highway. Bozeman is a nice area to visit. Bozeman Hot Spring is a sprawling attractive and amazing local place to relax and have fun year-round, with 12 large and small pools (indoor and outdoor) ranging from 57 to 106 degrees F, a steam room, and a sauna. They have live music events outdoors every Thursday and Sunday nights in the summer. Listen while you soak, relax and socialize. Another amazing experience in Bozeman is to visit the large Museum of the Rockies with its display of enormous reassembled dinosaur skeletons excavated in Montana. There is a planetarium there plus a Native American exhibit and art exhibit. A drive to Hyalite Canyon just south of Bozeman is another beautiful day trip. You can enjoy its large pristine lake for fishing, or take the hiking trails to scenic waterfalls. You can also book (in advance) scenic gentle water or white water rafting trips on both the Madison and Gallatin Rivers in the summer near Bozeman.brbrOur neighborhood at Bridger Bowl is comprised of several new mountain homes but has very little traffic, so you can easily walk from our home either on the trail system, or just down the roads. Some go uphill and some are flat. Our driveway and neighborhood roads are well maintained gravel but we do recommend an all wheel drive vehicle most months of the year here in Montana. Even a warm, mostly-sunny day can get a stray mountain shower (or you might even get some snow!). Pack layers and come prepared so you can be comfortable at all times.brbrAccess to the front door is self check-in via a key code deadbolt, so no need to worry if you fly in late or take off early from Bozeman's Yellowstone International Airport, just 40 minutes away. We will provide you with the code plus a map and driving directions a week prior to your arrival.

The living/dining/kitchen area is one common space, with the two bedrooms separated on the south side of the house. No amenities are missing – double ovens, dishwasher, laundry, wifi/cable, two full bathrooms, and even a humidifier for those not used to the dry Montana weather.brbrThe generous primary bedroom has a king size bed, full bathroom and shower. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed as well as a twin bed, and there is a pack-n-play for those in the crib age-range.brbrOut the back door is a large, fully fenced yard with patio, flowers, picnic table, and firepit with Adirondack chairs. Just out the back door is a large bbq gas grill, and there is ample shade provided by the mature trees and lilacs. One gated parking spot is available in the back accessed from the alley, but there is plenty of parking on the street in front of the house. Both doors to the house have keyless entry so you don’t have to walk around should you decide to park in back.brbrNorth Church Avenue is positioned between two busier, through streets which take the through traffic, so the neighborhood is much quieter than most. Additionally, the street is wide from the days when the trolley went up its middle (we missed those days!). The northeast neighborhood has a lot of assets, like a world class bakery, the Bozone Brewery, a bike shop and a few galleries, and most of all the historic working class architecture of Bozeman. In 5 minutes walking you can be on Main Street, a few blocks east brings you to Bozeman’s superb public library, Lindley Park, Bogart Park and summer pool, etc etc.brbrAs with all Bozeman Cottage houses, the Northside Modern Farmhouse is equipped with a drip style coffee maker, coffee grinder, a starter pack of fresh, local coffee, linens, pots/pans, cooking utensils, spices, dry goods (flour, sugar, etc), EO brand non-toxic body products, and comes with organic coffee & grinder. This is a lovely modern space with live plants and healthy features. We want you to feel completely taken care of and provide filtered water as well as nourishing gently bath and body products. The home features a nest thermostat to control your indoor environment as well as smart TV's in each bedroom and living room and a home sound system. High speed internet and flex office space is provided allowing for an efficient work space to keep you productive in Bozeman! A printer and basic office supplies are provided. Recreational opportunities abound here in Bozeman and your cottage is located only .3 from wonderful trails that connect to Bozeman's Main Street to the Mountains trail system. We are happy to provide two adult bicycles to hit up the trails or simply cruz into downtown Bozeman. Children's bikes may be availably upon request. You will be surrounded on two sides by parks and mountain views. There are amazing nearby trails (.3 miles) that connect to a network of trails including Main Street to the mountains! You will be close to Bozeman Deaconess hospital and Lindley Park and have little to no traffic on your way into town or when accessing Interstate 90. Come enjoy all Bozeman has to offer in this luxury gem!brbrGetting around is easy from your luxury cottage. Safely bike to downtown Bozeman or take a short 3 min drive. Uber/Lyft available. One quarter mile to nearest grocery store. Hop on the interstate and pop off at any Bozeman exit. Super convenient and quick.brbrWe allow one dog per stay. Please, please, please do not bring your puppy (dog under age of 1) or a dog who jumps on doors or furniture or sometimes urinates in the house! This is a luxury home and we would like to keep it that way! Your dog will need to be leash walked in the outside yard and neighboring parks as no fencing is provided. Plan to pick up all of your dog's doodies and dispose in the outside blue trash bin. Your dog may not be left unattended inside the home or garage unless in a dog crate and not for more than 5 hours. A dog crate may be provided upon request and please inquire about dog walking!brbr If you have a service dog we will need to be provided with documentation that your service dog is currently registered. brbrYour one well behaved dog (over the age of one) or emotional support animal will need to pay the $150 dog fee and agree to pay for any damage incurred while staying in our home. Damage fees begin at $800 and include the time, expense and sometimes loss of income incurred in repairing or replacing damaged wood, furniture, bedding, etc. brbrSaying that, we love dogs and hope your's meets the criteria listed above! We have a wonderful off leash dog park very close to your cottage called Pete's hill and many trails in Bozeman where they can enjoy the sweet scents unique to true Montana nature!brONE well behaved dog is allowed with a $150 pet fee. Extended stays require a $250 pet fee. If your dog jumps on doors or windows or urinates in the house please do not plan to bring your pet. This includes dogs under one year of age. We love pets but this is a Luxury home filled with expensive furnishings. I/We agree to never leave our dog unattended in the cottage or garage unless in a crate and for no more than 5 hours in a crate. Additional fees up up to $800 or more may be charged for pet damage and loss of rental fees associated with replacing and/or refinishing damaged property. I/We understand that there is no fenced yard at this vacation property and agree to leash walk my dog and not to leave my dog unattended in outside unfenced yard and neighboring parks. LOCAL DOGS are not allowed unless pet fee has been paid.brbrMAXIMUM OCCUPANCY is 5 Adults. QUIET TIME is 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
